No, you are not correct. You are on the second page for "Vacation in the Hamptons, NY" which no one searches.

You are on the 20th position in Google for "Vacation in the Hampton" which only 36 people search per month.

Use https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal for keyword research and select keywords that are often searched if you are here to make money.

Best of luck and welcome to HubPages.

You know what you're talking about. I'm on keyword tool every day. One of my favorite tools in the world. I'm in a business where there are 10 different names people call my product. Keyword tool helps me narrow it down to the most popular ones. Great advice for anyone!

Will Apse, I did see it, but did you manage to see the title of this thread? In case you didn't it was: "My hub is on the second page of google".... Now read the rest: "I am new at this. i am thinking this is good. Am I correct?"

So I was answering the main question when I said he isn't correct.

What Ultimate said is exactly right.. As you write, take some time to research SEO as well - there's a ton of great hubs on here that will help you along.

Sometimes, your hub will get on the first page of google.  It's inevitable.  But, that's not the end of everything.  It has to be on the first page where many people will be able to find it, not just you.  That's where SEO comes in at.

Keep writing, keep researching SEO, keep creating backlinks.. and yes, keep editing.  You can go back as many times as you want to fine tune your hub, just don't do it too often.  Give Google a chance to catch up with you.

You'll be fine.. and Welcome to Hubpages!

Ultimate Hubber- it seems I upset you. Bear in mind you have been here 10 months and can still be stung by a mild rebuke in a forum post. So spare a thought for someone who has just unveiled their first hub (a good piece of work) and is proud of it.

I answered his question and helped him. Do you have a problem with that?
