While researching The Southern Poverty Law Center  for my next hub, I came across a "hate map" and was chilled to the bone.  My state of Texas has at least 66 hate groups which I've listed below.  If you want to see those around you, go to the address above and click on "hate map." Some of these will become homegrown terrorists, and they have infiltrated the Tea Party Movement.  Aren't we just proud!

No, I don't think he is. They did it already in talk radio.
In 2000, Bush made some new regulation regarding bandwidth, and the public airwaves were bought up by one or two companies....Clearchannell ring a bell? Very Bush-supportive/Christian right supportive.

Now, this Congress has reversed that regulation, and maybe soon we will see some actual "public" in "public" broadcasting, rathe than all right-wing all the time.(at least where I live...."liberal" Massachusetts...ha!)

Liberal talk shows fail because they have no audience not because of some regulation. Ever hear of Air America? Bankrupt because of their hosts moronic views, nobody wants to hear it, unlike conservative talk shows that make everyone associated with them rich!

Its always Bush's fault isn't it?

Yep!  and Cheney's and Rumsfelts, and Condi's, and Gonzales's, and yours for voting the asses into office twice.  Sorry you can't find any defense for them but to mock our disdain.  If anyone is bankrupt, it is the right wing and you are trying to regain power--simple as that.  You don't acknowledge that you nearly destroyed the country and you hide behind your hatred and anger at having been caught out.  No one will take you seriously again until you stop taking Turdblossom and rejoin the land that speaks American English, or in your case, I guess, American Spanish or Italian, hard to figure.  You add nothing to a conversation. We have already registered you disdain.  We don't care.

My read on that post is that either it is a a proud partner to those hate groups or that the whole right wing has deteriorated into one big hate group.  As a Christian myself, it nauseates me to have these people tack on the name of Christian to their hate groups.  I suspect true Ismalics feel much the same.  I guess that they think their bunk is really legitimate.  Either way, that wing of our "democracy" is corrupt and ready for the dust bin along with a whole lot of Chlorox.

"As a Christian myself, it nauseates me to have these people tack on the name of Christian to their hate groups."
It's the groups themselves that do that. It is indeed nauseating to see hate groups pretending to be preaching the gospel of Christ.
