I love to hear stories about clocks. When I travel, I research clocks before I go, and then make it my challenge to find them photograph them, and find out more about them.
Therefore, if you have a clock of any interest where you live, I'd really like to hear about it. Yes, I am planning a holiday, and maybe I'll decide where to go based on interesting clocks!
My grandfather built a four sided street clock in the 1930's--
It was recently restored, brought back to working order and put on display in Buena Park, California. I have a hub about it.
If you search 'clock' on my profile page you will find it. If you Google "Dreger Clock" you will also find it.
I also have another hub about the Mariposa County courthouse, which has a tower clock that has been running since 1854-- it runs on weights that have to be reset every three days.
You have to come to California to see these.

The Forbidden City in Beijing has a special exhibition hall dedicated to clocks received by various emperors as gifts from wetern powers. They are simply amazing.

Do you set your clocks to the right time or a time different than the right time?Ever since I was a teenager, I've set my clock at least 10 min. ahead. I love the feeling of relief I get, knowing that I have 10 min. more than I thought I had to get ready. It's a fun game for me. Of...
