Maybe if I make my To-Do list public this week, I'll get it done eh?

Feel free to try this exercise with me people smile

The idea is that if I post my To-Do list here for wandering eyes to see, maybe I'll get it done and stick by my word to myself? I know it's a long shot but hey...what can it hurt?

Feel free to share your own or discuss the concept of breaking promises/goals to ourselves....Why DO we do that hmm?

    7-8-2010  <<<--(OK wait....it's 2010 already? *clears throat* ok, focus...)

1.) Work on opening yourself up to receive the worlds signals and influence on my emotions. (in other wards...stop believing my emotions are a bad thing or irrelevant).

2.) Give the Dog a bath...(OK this one is silly but the girl is gettin' kinda stanky...) =P

3.)Allow myself to let go of clutter and items that will only complicate my life in the year to come... (Spring Cleaning in Winter Much? )

4.)Write a Poem! (This used to happen constantly, but I have been without inspiration for so long I allowed myself to forget how important it is for me to continue writing, even if it's only for myself).

5.)Publish at least three articles within a week regardless of the desire to rip my eyes out when dealing with having to follow guidelines...(Wouldn't be so stressful if I felt I could color outside the lines I suppose).

6.)Even though I'm doing what I love, remember to allow myself to take breaks...(seriously I was typing for so long the other night, my eyes began to see colors that weren't there, that ever happen to you?)

Ok...one week to make sure I accomplish all of this, let's see if this method comes with the promise of actual follow-through.

And Good Luck with your various goals this week....baby steps don't hurt. big_smile

Oh and yes, I realize my week seems to be starting in fact, at the END of a week "technically". I like that I make my own week actually! It's exhilerating, you should try it sometime....

That's right, my week now begins on a Friday.

Wow that feels good to type out loud =P

OK, unfortunately despite my efforts to post this here, I seem to have failed myself yet again! maybe I'll try again when I get my thoughts together..

I DID succeed in continuing to work on opening myself up....but that's it and that didn't really count as a to do..

Didn't even write a new poem, but I'll try to avoid being disappointed in myself for this and shoot for next week =/

You should have made your first one to write a To-Do list. Would've been good to get off to a flying start! big_smile

If you'd made your to do list into a hub, maybe.

I made my hubchallenge todo into a hub and I'm actually sort of keeping up. Otherwise I'd leave it to last minute and not finish (like last month...)

I'll try it.  Here are my goals for Friday, January 15.

For my wine sales job: 1) make one appointment for late January or early February, and 2) send an email to the host of my next wine tasting.

For school: 3) go to the Geology lab for two hours, and 4) go to the Archaeology lab for two hours (not very ambitious, but would be an improvement over my current attendance).

For my Accounting job, 5) find and resolve invoicing discrepencies, and 6) finish 1/3 of my data entry.

Uh, oh.  I've only completed goal 2.  Maybe I can do 5 and 6 before the end of the day.

Yeah I'm thinking this isn't working too well for me right now, it's a shame, I really thought it would..

No worries, there's always next week!

The dog did get a bath though, that stench is unavoidable =P

do good and proper research as well as improve layout

    do something enjoyable this week

add to the universal energy - a bit of altruistic meditation might help

Spring clean my PC with reimage's free 5 min scan, I try to carry this out regularly to check for viruses, spyware or damaged files that will enevitably effect my computer's performance.

oooook, I'm gonna try this on a normal "beginning of the week" kind of schedule this time.

I'll just do one day at a time maybe? yea, that will work better.

      To Do: 1-18-09

1.)publish a new poem on HubPages

2.)get involved in some forums on redroom's website

3.)get at least two bids going on a freelance bidding site

4.)begin work/research on my next article topic for suite101

5.)get away from the computer for a few hours and get outside!

Let's see how this goes, wish me luck!

working
