      Yes he is!!  There are many diffrent God Hypothesis being taught.
      
         A flood of diffrent versions to bury the real one.
         
         Rev. 12:15  And the serpent cast out of his mouth as a flood after the woman that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

         It's a little hard to see why somebody will believe in Satan and argue that God is an hypothesis. But that's just me.

   Satan his having a field day.  He is grinning from ear to ear because more then anything he wants mankind to believe there is no God because he knows that is the one think which will land us in his kingdom of fire and torture.
   
   How can we tell if Satan is impacted us only through faith in God will we be able to escape the tricks of Satan.  Satan is no dummy, do you think God would create a dummy to work for him?  Just like Satan fooled Adam & Eve, and everyone else we see in history as those who committed unspeakable acts he will fool us to and members the church will most certainly be his target.  What is Satan doing today, look around you and see the hate he has created in people's minds.

    After reading most of the posts, it seems to me that either those responding did not understand the questions or everyone got carried away.
    As a christian, student of the Bible, a person of faith, I do understand that many people really do not understand much about satan. Satan is not just a concept or someone to be blamed for all our mistakes.
    C. S. Lewis in his classic book entitled "The screw Tape Letter" states a fact about satan that we need to consider. Satan has created or manipulated two extremes. One is to totally deny his existence and the other is to have an unhealthy fear about who he is and what he is capable of doing.
    Now to answer the question posed, "what is satan doing?" Satan is inciting people to (1) act more wickedly 2)think that we do not need God (3) be boastful and love themselves more than others (4) use religion to hate or care less for the plague of the less fortunate (5)believe lies and resist the truth at all cost. These are just few of the things Satan is doing.
