Hi, I just posted my first article here about a purse I found online and like. Just wondering who else here like shopping for unique purses? I'm also learning about the forum and how it all works. Hub pages is a really interesting concept and I'm looking forward to reading more about fashion and shopping online here. Do most of you do your shopping online, or do you just look online, then buy in the store? I do both.

I do both as I am a Coach and Dooney fan so buying directly from them makes my life easier. I personally get tired of the malls and become frustrated if the purse isn't there so why shop in the mall , when I am only a click away .smile

Purses are something i never buy online. When i  personally know some of the good manufacturers of leather items, can get it on discounted prices and even get a good choice of designs , i really don't care. Moreover i am not the sort of person who carry bags and stuff. I would just stuff a thin wallet into the pocket of my trousers or jeans.

Well, I resisted a temptation to plug a couple of my own links here, instead I just reported the thread as spam big_smile

LOL Somebody has to show the ropes to them smile
And no, it is not asking for opinions, it is an attempt of self-promotion on the forums smile

@ Misha - I also think you are being a bit rough with your response to this post.
(And I also think that someone ought to report your avatar as spam! lol

@ Denise - don't let him scare you. He'll probably become your fan soon - if he isn't already.
And I think it's pretty common to check thinhgs out online, and buy in store. And vice-versa.

      Cheers,
      Eric G.

I do shop online but only for perfumes and cosmetics. I prefer to buy a purse from the stores because I want to make sure it is genuine.

The topic of this post caught my eye! wink

I have only bought a 3 or 4 purses online but usually regret it. I like to make purchases in person so I can feel the material, check out the stitching, look at the inside lining and pockets, etc. I also wouldn't want to buy a knock off for the price of the real version.

I've a few purses...my favorite is a black fuzzy tote back with a pink inside.

Other guys can laugh, but it beats a fanny pack any day. =P

I mostly buy stuff like purses from outlet stores. I just go online to search for something that I am thinking of buying, like purse for example, just to have an idea of how much it is.

I want to see the purse before I buy it.  I don't care about designer names, and I'm not always all that picky about things like stitching.  I just want to see how bulky or streamlined it is, what the compartments are like, whether it looks cheesy or not "in person", etc.

For purses, I buy directly from then stores. I don't think it's a good idea to buy them online.

I haven't got a purse. Don't want to hurt anyone but somehow I found them useless.

excuse my ignorance.... when you say purse, do you mean handbag, I know my American relative calls what we would call handbag purse..... I would call a purse, just the thing I put my money in...
