Hi,
I just got very disappointed to see that our much loved soccer topic has been littered by one hubber with so called hubs that only contain pictures of girls in little or provocating clothing.... is this allowed? What about the hubpages site`s own warning that hubs must contain original material, be informative etc....
It`s realy bugging me, because when I go to check out what was the latest published article in this topic all it comes up is rubbish, whereas it`s clear that we had a very interesting and talented little group going on with quality material....
thank you all for listening to my moaming:)
Well, first of all it sounds like those hubs are miscategorized, which is a reason for them to be moderated all by itself. In addition, they may be adult, from your description. Please flag a few of them for us, and the moderators will take care of it right away.
thank you! I have flagged a few, I hope they can be moved to a different category.
trust me, i know EXACTLY what you mean. when i first started on hubpages, all the film categories i fanned were mostly full of hubs about half naked Indian girls, with little to hardly any text in them at all, and they all had virtually NOTHING to do with the film topic it was in. Just various photos of hot Indian girls posing sexually. Sure, there were a few legitimate ones in those categories, but most of them were filled with the type of hubs I just described. Therefore, I know what you mean. However, if it's any consolation at all, I know one hubber assured me that these hubs don't make any more money on adsense than you do. Therefore, I hope that comforts you to know.
thanks, this hubber in particular has published 96 hubs in 3 weeks.... it takes me a week to write a good one that I`m happy with... I`m not jealous or anything, just would prefer the quality sports hubs I`m used to before these gusy came along...
thank you for your support!
it happens in the entertainment category also. kind of sad when the hot entertainment hubs are all photo hubs or reviews of reality shows. there are so many great topics and hubs but I guess those hubs get a lot of views. not saying much for cultural taste.
I would love to see a different site for photo only hubs and keep this one for content, article writing.
There are lots of Hubs of Just photo's. Some are interesting, but they don't get a high Hubscore. Seems like you've only seen one out of 100s of them.
One of the advantages of writing on HP is that you can publish what you want "within reason". I think we should just leave them be. As much as you may dislike it, they have a huge amount of traffic.

hi Lady_E and thank you for your reply.
I appreciate if someone would only want to put pics into their hubs, I just wish there would be a separate topic where they could do this.... that`s all. I`m actually not on this site for traffic only, I love football and I really enjoy writing and spend an aweful lot of time researching, reading, wtaching, analyzing, the lot. Football is a very important part of many true fan`s life and those so called football hubs do not reflect that at all... maybe there should be a topic called hot girls and everyone would be happy
Good idea.
Months ago, I think some people complained about it in Forums, as there were such pictures cirulating on many Threads and a New Forum name has now been assigned to them, which is: http://hubpages.com/forum/category/766
So maybe, HP might do the same to Hubs.
There is a topic called Photo Galleries which is where these should be.
As Rebekah says, the topic is in the Entertainment category which ruins that category for the rest of us - it's why I never Hub Hop, because Dance is part of Entertainment!
I wish Photo Galleries was a category on its own!
I think that's the way to go, to have it's own separate topic and then the corresponding categories would all fit under that one topic. It would also be easier to flag hubs for the moderators.
thank you all for replying, I will keep flagging them and hopefully they can be moved to a different category soon

I was hopping some Hubs when I came arcoss a Hub which was nothing more than a bunch of pictures of women. Just before I gave it a low rating I noticed there is actually a category for this kind of material on HP, I thought this wasn't allowed. Can someone give me some advice on this...

Hello Everyone, I hope you all had a great week. For me it has been a very good week, my ankle seems to have healed perfectly -it even passed the high heel test- and my arm cast finally came off, just leaving me with a few sessions of re-education before I can start using my hand...

HubPages used to provide us with an organizational tool within our profile pages that enabled us to group or categorize different hubs. For example, poetry, short stories, articles, etc. This issue has probably been addressed previously, but I was hoping HP would consider restoring this...

Hey folks! How about a little cheering squad thread, eh? I have been feeling a little down the last couple of days because, well, I'm working hard on these hublove topics but they're not really easy.. The leaderboard is full of amazing hubbers, but oh my gosh!! Stacie, Whitney, you ladies have blown...

Hi, I am starting some lapidary hubs and feel they don't fit properly anywhere else. Can we start a lapidary category?
