   of  motivation.
   
   My fashion hub has basically been completed for 3 days.  The remaining copy will take me 20 min then 10 to reproof.
   
   I cannot for the life of me understand why I can't motivate myself or hold my attention long enough to focus on completing this.
   
   and it's driving me insane
   
   May sound trivial but the "I'll do it tomorrow" isn't working and I am so frustrated
   
   
   ANY  IDEA"S   PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
   
   maybe just posting this will help.
   
   And look  the time it took me to write this would have just cut almost 10 min off the time to complete my damn hub

      Here's a thought. Don't publish it. Put it to the side. There must be some reason why  you haven't completed the task, so why fight it? What's the hurry anyway? Do you have a deadline to meet other than one that is self imposed? I'm sure when the mood strikes you, you'll come back to it and finish the task...or you won't. Next!

         hes right you know, sometimes walking away gives your mind space to think out what it is you need to do.. and you can read things afresh.. and sometimes inspiration magically knits it all together, when you wait a moment, the magic happens and the creativity flows.

      I can see that you, too, know how it feels to be a perfectionist...It's great to hear how you got through it.  I'm putting together a website (I just started on HubPages today), and I can say that it's sometimes hard to keep focused on the big picture when a single page seems insurmountable.  But you stuck to it, and you found help when you needed it - that's good stuff, if you ask me.

            I have a 5 part fashion series - this is hub 3-shoes, I think Im afraid it wont live up to the series.-all the same format and tone
            
            They all have fun with fashion and are humorous.  I have gone through hundreds of shoes and have about 30 bazaar ones - i write captions with thar that mock that apparel or accessory
            
            Shoes are tough, but I'm not ashamed to say I m scared it won't be  good enough.  I normally don't write things I have no knowledge about so maybe I'm feeling ay out of my league to those who do follow/know fashion.

   I have gone through the same thing, we have to walk away clear our minds, focus on other things for awhile and then come back to what we are working on. You can do it just relax and then go back and finish it up.

    Kimberly, my dear friend.  You know I'm always here to help you out.  If you email me with a specific problem, or even other issues, I'm your handyman and motivator.
    
    You need to worry less about how good your shoehub is, and just publish it, if it has everything you want to say already.  It can be tweaked later..it's never written in stone.  It's not like a magazine article, where you can't go back, once it's printed.  Go for it!!
    
    BTW..check your gmail..there may be something interesting to divert your attention.

    I tried to mail myself to you ... as added incentive ... but somehow I ended up in the Amazon jungle with some tribe that calls themselves the Cannibals. Fortunately, they have designated me to be the guest of honor at a special feast and they are currently giving me a nice warm bath. I'm just a bit uncertain of the carrots and potatoes they keep tossing in, but I assume they must have some native cleansing properties.
