Yes he paid 300 dollars to a man who supplied him with a girl for sex. Turns out the girl was only 16 hence the rape charge. The man that supplied the girl however has been charged with a number of crimes.

Yup. She was a run away that he took advantage of and forced her into sex slavery. A real dirt bag!

He's a good guy?  Married with kids.  The Rape charge stems from an underage prostitute lying to him.

Jeez.  Really!  This guy was somebody's hero?  What kind of Married Man uses the services of prostitutes that isn't in public office?

LT has a history of just not being a very good person so this isn't surprising at all.

I just read that LT is planning quite a wacky defense in the rape charges. Really grosses me out and pisses me off that the defense  will argue that he was engaged in a "masturbatory act" not sex while with a 16 year old prostitute.
Right now he is out on $750,000 bail and is expected to argue that that a condom found in the hotel room wasnt his.
And it has been reported that he has confessed to police that he paid the girl $300 after 'engaging in sex acts" . This a third degree felony and faces up to 4 years in jail.

Move over Plaxico  . .looks like you just might have some "Giant" company.

I'd never heard of Lawrence Taylor so I googled him, and the story according to The New York Times is that the girl was beaten up and had a black eye which he is accused of causing.
He denies this and says when she was brought to his hotel bedroom at 4am, she already had a black eye.
If she is only 16, she must have looked young. What kind of man then pays for her services, if that is indeed what happened, without thinking that perhaps this girl had already been brutalised and maybe forced into prostitution?
Sorry, he's a loser in my book.

Izzy I could not agree with you more. Lawrence Taylor was a major force on the New York Giants. The black eye supposely comes from her pimp when she refused to go to LT's room. It sickens me that a role model such as LT, a football icon and star thinks he is above it all and can do what he wants when he wants. . As sad as it makes me for this really looks bad for my beloved Giants I hope they throw the book at him.
