I've tried the new set up, and the results have been mixed. My first post got 51 likes quite quickly, but my second fared much worse. My third accrued 2 likes overnight (from my 1200 + connections).

The key factor is appearing on the 'latest' page, which my first post did, and the others didn't. Under the old system, all of my posts appeared in the 'latest news' section, but this new set up seems to allow posts to sink without even surfacing.

Comments must now be a minimum of 40 characters, but all this has done is turn 'nice post' comments into 'nice post, please do not forget about me my friend' type ones.

There's still plenty of spam on there too of the 'my aunt earns gazillions working twenty minutes a day...' type crap.

It's something of a curate's egg, but it does seem to be running a lot smoother than the old system.

When your post fails to gather any view/ likes, the best thing is to delete and repost it.

Someone said Google likes/loves Bubblews? (Sorry I'm too lazy to find it and quote it.) Is that really true? I have never once seen Bubblews in my Google search results.

I think the quote was "It's Official Google Hates Bubblews"

Once upon a time I had a series on B that ranked on the first page for its search term; that is long gone now.  However, I think backlinks from the site may have some value.  I welcome others opinions and experience.

I was just wondering this.  Whether the new layout had improved or affected things.  Too early to tell I think.

I think long term it's an improvement. For the time being though my earnings there have taken a beating. Granted I'm still not in sync with the new layout.

They just changed EVERYTHING at Bbbws. Everything....wait a few days and check it out, I hope they are ironing out the kinks but I have not been able to function there since yesterday due to the issues. It might be neat once the problems are solved though.

I had to laugh at one Bubblews poster's way of getting round the 40-character minimum for comments - with minimum effort:

    Thankssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Lol...the quality of posts here is so much better, for sure.  But in two days there, I have already surpassed what I have made here this month.

You will soon get tired of all the "Gweat poast, much informative, keep up good work!"

Since Bubblews launched the new site, activity on posts are way down. Not just for me, but many others have been complaining about it.

I think I'm just going to let the whole Bubblews thing sit for a couple of weeks and see what else, if anything, they do to the site.  Right now I just can't function on there.  Maybe it will be easier for me to see where something like "archives" is - that type of thing.  It's pretty much a bad case of "visual vomit" on there right now, but maybe they aren't finished with "the new thing".

I've really done much better there in the past couple of days, but it's really uneven. One post takes off, the next just sits there. I think the new layout is much easier to use and it looks much better to me.

Bubblews has a tendency to not pay members, usually after a couple of initial payments have been issued. Contacting them is a no-go, because members are issued an automatic spam warning instead of any real response. Writers have lost hundreds of dollars at Bubblews. If something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Many have pulled their articles from Bubblews and gone back to sites where there isn't a payment dance.
