               I was thinking of doing a longer one, because I'd like to get to 100, but I decided that a 30 in 30 commitment was enough to start with. I've never done anything like this before, so it's kinda strange.

         I do a little bit of freelance writing but I'm only just getting started.  I can see how it will pay off if I put some hard work into promoting myself.  I am also putting together a website about Grand Cayman but I still have a lot of work to do understanding SEO and keyword optimization.

            Do you notice that in the top right hand corner of your screen it no longer says how many followers we have?  Just how many hubs we have?  Looks like maybe HubPages are changing a few things.

               I did notice that. but I saw, just to the left, that there was a follow flag. That is where it lists how many followers we have, and someone can click on to follow us I think. I didn't click on it. Didn't want to follow myself.

    Whew!  I've dropped off the radar screen over a week ago-no reading or writing.  Started my new job and it is back to a very long grind of 12 hr shifts and a 2 hr commute each way. So, will be popping in and out when I can.
    
    I see thecleanlife and cloverleaf are still going strong here.  I will have to catch up on reading and commenting.  also: billy hicks and homesteadbound-good luck with the challenge.
    
    Viryabo-I'll have to catch up with you and Annie as well. 
    
    Somewhere along the way I had started another challenge.  Silly me, what was I thinking with the new job starting and all...

       I'm not entirely sure of the rules myself. I have only been on hubpages for 3 weeks. I can only share with you what I am doing, or have done. I did not count, in my 30 hubs, any that I had already written/published. I started with the new ones as I published them. I had previously published 12, I think. Hope this helps some.
