I'm finding it difficult to reach 100 hayz, my highest so far was 99 few weeks ago, and last week 98, now I'm stuck with 94-96. When I posts hubs sprinkled with research my author score gets hurt and wounded but we need traffic to boost our stock right, and research is the best way to accomplish it? Can you give me advice on how to get that elusive 100 score, I'm getting paranoid with it already aw, and getting sick...
Ask frogdropping. She came along real quick if that's what your after. She followed Darkside's advice a lot along with some other great hubbers too. I got up to 99 once a long time ago, but don't really care much about it at all. I just do my thing.
I been with HP for 4 weeks and I'm up to 96, goes up and down allot, I agree with ralwus, just do your thing.
As long as your author score is above 75, nothing to worry about ![]()
Traffic is more important. You can't make a reasonable amount of money without it. Having said that, I admire those Hubbers with a constant 100 Hub score - They must be genius.
Hope you get to 100 soon. ![]()
Don't apply so much pressure on yourself just write and it all goes hand in hand. ![]()
I find the more hubs I write the worse my hub score becomes and the same can go for my hubs. The ones with good google earnings have the worst hub score for some reason. The hubs I don't rate as much come in with fantastic hub scores. So now I think it means very little as long as you are enjoying and getting the traffic.

AEvans, I told him that. I don't think he heard what I said
.
I think that you'd better to concentrate on writing and traffic and then.. one day you'll open your account and see that you've reached 100. ![]()
Thanks Guys...
Yeah hehehe, I will just keep on hubbing and be very amiable in the forums...
Getting traffic should definitely be your number 1 priority. If you produce quality hubs your author score will be high.
Gotta vote for traffic here.
If I got 1000 hits a day to a Hub with a 60 score, I wouldn't complain at all.
I've watchedd my scores bounce from 88 to 93 to 71 in a single day, sometimes within hours.
But as long as the traffic is still coming in, I don't care.
I am a newbie here and am not well versed with this system. Though, I have noticed that every time I go back to my hub and edit it and add or re-do some ideas and give a better structure and form to the ideas within the hub, traffic builds up, and the score on the hub rises, how and why, I do not know. At this juncture, I cannot even think about earning, but I try hard to work on the hub, timex.
There's a variety of metrics that go into the Hub Score. Remember, this is a social site. So...act socially.
As far as traffic, you can always gain that numerous ways. The two are intertwined.
I got to 100 a few times before, It really depends on a lot of factors. I don't let it worry me, I just think of it as a score of my current progress, and if its low and i know it should be higher I blame others writing about my stuff.

I guess as long as your hub score is above 75 you have nothing to worry about , commenting and writing forum posts tend to increase it a lot
Well I hit a high of 89 in my author score and than sank like a stone for some reason. Maybe I use the word Vitamin C too many times in one hub? Or maybe my links are bad although I did follow the rules as I understand them.
Right now, I'm not worried about it. My hubs aren't getting a ton of traffic yet. Once I'm getting traffic, I'll see how that impacts the scores, but I have to say, it is kind of disheartening to see how randomly the numbers change.

well when I joined I started out at 50. I posted a hub and watched my score go up. I've gotten as high as 92 but now fluctuates in 80's. I've added adsense and amazon but I've decided for the time being on focusing on what I'm writing. I've gotten nice compliments on that and for now that's what works for me.
Someday the money may come, but for now I'm sticking with patience and learning how to write. ![]()

Why bother? It's nice for the ego but it has no other tangible advantage. Traffic is what pays the bills.
Something I wondered today ,since I have alot of blue arrows , grrrrr.. but being an optimistic person , could that also indicate traffic had been good before that ...
Writers block and slow traffic -bad combo.
