The international recession has hit jamaica hard. Bauxite slowdown has been horrible. So the JLP government is heading for the IMF.
They face tough choices. Cant reschedule debt, so seems like fiscal discipline is the way to go. This means budget cuts. Wow. Tough times ahead for the poor.
