What does Halloween mean to u all.. and why?
It means I am a year old. My Birthday is the day before Halloween, LOL.

Halloween is a time to break out the latex, whip up a fresh batch of blood, dig out the old props and make some new ones. Halloween is one of the finest times of the year. It lets everyone be a kid again and get dressed up and be whoever they want to be. Besides what other time can you think of when parents actually encourage to go up to strangers dressed up as monsters just so they can get candy?

It's the only time of year where you're encourage to go house to house and beg for food...Good thing it's by choice and not out of necessity

It means I go our and buy two pounds of chocolate bars, put them in an orange bowl, and on November 1rst we eat them ourselves because kids are too scared to come to our door.

I know what you mean, Pam. When I got my own place hidden in the apple orchards in upstate New York, most didn't know that it existed. I never locked the door at night--that should just about settle it

It's like that here too. You can barely see the house from the road and there's no sidewalk. So we never get even one single kid.

YES! I bet they increase in numbers every day
For a while when I was having suspicious recurring problems with my car, I suspected that those same rabbits were stealing my parts in the middle of the night...They must work for my mechanic

It means its that much closer to Christmas. My kids are grown now and they're aren't many small kids in the neighbourhood so I don't get as excited about Halloween.
Christmas is a completely different story. A few years ago my husband bought me a mug that reads 'if it doesn't move decorate it'. He meant it literally.

I get to take out all my decorations and set up my display.
The pumpkin carving is also one of my favorite things. I just wish I didn't live way out in the tooles...cuz I never get any trick or treaters,that used to be my favorite thing.tim-tim wrote:

Ahhh, it's one of the greatest holidays ever creaaaated. I can dress up as I please, scare people and children...be out under the full moon on an icy night. Sure, I can do that any full moon with cold weather but it means more on Halloween.

Halloween means taking my kids out to all my friends' houses and getting pics taken. It is great fun!
