    300 gr white soap
500 ml water (if your want to be face can use rose water)
5 tbsp of almond oil, or marigold fixed oil(One can make ones own marigold oil by using olive oil, and cover petals of dried marigold, and leave to stand for 10 days in sun, shaking daily, strain after ten days, ready for use)
2 tsp or 10 ml of teatree essential oil
1.5ml or thymus vulgaris (CT Linalol)

by Hananja Brice-Ytsma (Medical Herbalist)MNIMH, MSc.

Grate the plain white soap with a cheese grater, and put into a bowl. Add 500ml of water, and put the bowl over a pan of boiling water.  Stir continously until soap melts.
Add 5 tablespoons of oil, one could just use olive oil, but could also use almond oil, jojoba oil, or a fixed oil of marigold.
Add 2 teaspoons of tea tree essential oils, and 30 drops of thymus vulgaris (linalol), need to make sure it is chemotype linalol essential oil, the other ones will be irritating on the skin, but this one is nice an gentle.
To give the soap a nice look, one can add some dried petals of marigold.

Mix all well, and put in shallow dish, to make a soap loaf, or in individual moulds, leave to cool and set, migh take 1 or 2 weeks.

Cut and wrap the soaps in greaseproof paper, leave to dry further in cool place.

Wash affected area with the soap, use twice daily.by

You should publish this as a hub.

There are three reasons for that:

    1) Because you will get rated on the strength of the content.

    2) Because it's not really a very good forum subject (Even though one or two hubbers may be suffering from Fungal attacks).

    3) Because if you do a little more research on this subject.. you will find that in Bumble Town - New Zealand fungal infections are a basic requirement to being able to have a beer at Ichy Bros Bar on mainstreet.

Good Luck and welcome to HP.

Humm... using essential oil undiluted isn't recomended really. (use 3 to 5 drops max for 1 tbs of olive oil) otherwise you might just as well use topical anti fungal cream.

To avoid that real bad itch you better use the soap twice daily as mentioned. (especially if you go out for a drink in NZ hehe!)

Prevention is best way for fighting off all infections.

Take care and thank you Hananja.
