Jesus mentions ghosts in the Bible, does that mean they really exist?
There is only one Ghost that Jesus mention in the bible he is the Holy Ghost and the same as Comforter. What are ghosts, ghosts are spirits that is raised from the dead or better it is breath. So yes when you take that last breath you are giving up the ghost that is in you.
Leviticus, Deuteronomy, 1 Samuel, 2 Kings, and Isaiah all contain scriptures which refer to "familiar spirits." These are actually demons that take on the form of something familiar, i.e. a dead loved-one, etc. The common idea of a "ghost" is actually one of these 'familiar spirits.'
