Thank god it's treatable. Good luck and all the best, Mr. Abdul-Jabbar.

My heart goes out to the man who has given so very much to the game of basketball.  Watching Kareem play Wilt in a Lakers-Bucks game was my introduction to the game of basketball, and I've been a fan and follower ever since.  I wish Kareem well and hope only the best for him.

    a class act.

his movements on the court seemed effortless. and so productive. at the end of the game you'd think he had 10 or 12 points.  then you look up at the scoreboard and it shows 34.  amazing.

GOD Bless him! I can't imagine how someone feels when they hear news to that degree about themselves...a strong man indeed.
