But I seem to have a lull in my fan base
..... any suggestions? I've tried the ideabank....
Well, besides the forum and interaction with others.
I've noticed that I get about 3-4 fans a week, if I do nothing.
I set a goal of presenting at least 40 hubs, of some of things I wanted people see or read.
I also became fans of many other hubbers. I am a fan to more people than I have fans.
Not every fan club I joined, has returned the favor. Hence, why I only have a little over 100(104 be exact). But, I don't be-grudge anyone. I keep plugging along, spreading my message and helping out where I can.
Kinda, like now for instance.
Hope I helped.

Misty if you write they will come, so many times a new person worries in the first 6 months about fans just get involved and they will come. Read other hubs you are doing fine and keep up the good work! ![]()

What's up AEvans?
How are you today?
From the viewpoint of a newbie it seems that, like it or not, more hubs attract more like-minded readers...Also, any way you can generate a relevant inbound link to your site. The higher the relevance of your content the more overall traffic you get from search engine spiders and so on.

Fans are other Hubbers. They're so busy with their own Hubs and reading Hubbers they're already a fan of, they're not going to notice new Hubs by unknowns.
To get fans, you really need to participate in the forums and leave comments on other people's Hubs.
Anyway, fans are not something to get het up about. They're good for the ego but they do absolutely nothing for your income. They're Hubbers, and Hubbers don't click on ads.

Yeah -- I've only got 7 :-( But I've only written 3 hubs -- you've written 31! We've both been here 3 weeks, so, by comparison, you're doing really well
