Hello folks, friends and hubbers,
I've recently published a new hub and I was looking for advice about the layout I used on the hub.
I took some advice from multiple hubbers about using separate text capsules for such as breaking down sections of your writing text.
I found it looks better myself, but I'm interested in knowing other people thoughts.

Whatever you have to say about it is open.
Thank you for your time.
I think it looks great! Also, nice content. Keep it up!

Thank you.
Each of us hide our own truth, follow your own path.
Do you find that polls on such a hub are effective highlights of your key points?

I found no reason to add a poll to the hub. I was only passing along information, knowledge and individual conscious understanding(wisdom).
The layout looks just fine. Here's some unsolicited advice. Use more tags (10 to 15 is a good number). Some can be broad or generic, and some should be more targeted.
Also, I'm not a fan at all of words sprinkled throughout text that are either bold or in all caps. To me, the writer is saying, "Here, stupid. Since you won't pick this up, let me point it out to you." ![]()

hi! the main reason some people put bold letters in their article is for the reader to immediately grasp the whole idea.(although capital letters is abig off....some readers just like to read in passing..they have very short attention span too....it is nice if you put summary in the heading of your article so that the people will know immediately what is in the article!
I like your layout. It's nice. It's read able. It holds my attention. Except: I think you have a lot of words at the end without breaking it up with a sub-heading. I find I am more likely to read an article if it is broken up under subheadings... or even return to finish if I don't have time. (like now)
as for content... well uh. yeah. ;-)

Thank you for your honesty. It is greatly appreciated.

You can use photoshop to match the shape of a picture to a paragraph. I sometimes even add some white above a picture to make it align exactly with the text. Or I reduce or add text to match the bottom of the picture. That's why it takes me so long to get a hub published. But perhaps I'm overdoing it on the design front. Your lay-out is fine, I got through the whole hub. Although I agree with the others about splitting up the text a bit more towards the end, especially when the text becomes wide to read.

Hey Cagsil, it is no secret that to have any successful (really successful ) Hub you require 4 elements. This I suppose is my opinion so it is maybe a secret.
Anyways
1-good, interesting content.
2-proper grammar and spelling not too long nor too short - individual decision.
3-pleasurable or entertaining visuals appropriate to the Hub.
4-A title that draws people in.
The rest will either be a bonus or junk the Hub up.
Title-Your Hub drew me in not only because it's posted here but it also appeals to the masses "life" offering an explanation or reasoning to the reader. Nice.
Content/grammar-Your content was perfect length in my opinion, and I know they sometimes feel long, but what do we do here? We write and we read. To the best of our abilities and in the interim hopefully continue to improve and grow creatively. Grammar and Spelling was correct, can't fault you there.
Art Direction-visual presentation - it is beyond me how you were able to align your photo's and type without the "publish" formatting God's screwing it up on you. I struggle with this the most. You had captions under every visual and the visuals were attractive to the eye and relevant to the subject. Also not too big or too many.
I've said way too much except I am inspired to make my Hubs more visually attractive now and I am quite hurt my swimsuit video (being a big purpose in life) was not included so 99, lost a point for ignoring Kimmy, sorry.
As she knows she has already said too much given the same comment was left in the Hub revealing her amount of downtime and purpose in life to be in the forums.
Hope something helped,
Kimberly

For what it's worth, I think the hub starts off looking good but I agree with some others that the text could be broken up for the second half, either with more pics coming down on the right hand side or separate capsules with more headings to break the text up a little - good luck with it : )

Well, from what I gather. That's a good thing?
Just kidding.
