Just wondering what anyone would like to know how to cook that they don't have a recipe for or would like to learn to cook?

I would like to cook some chicken and dumplings.  Have done this before, I do have a recipe, one my grandmother would make.  I'm not sure I can make anything as good as she did though.

Sounds like, you like to cook:)  I'll be watching for your tips!

AAAAAAh nobody cooks like grandma. She could make a feast out of creamed tomatoes and biscuits. They were sooooo good.
Mine taught me to cook from scratch.
    Soups are my specialty.

Chicken curry is Papa Sez' favorite but with plain Rice.

I am currently looking for healthy vegetable preparations/recipes (raw) to add to our meal plan.

Hi there, sorry I was not able to return to this forum immediately. Yes, I read your hub and that was heart wrecking.  I hope you find true love with your new girlfriend.

I want to share with you my Chicken Curry and Fried Rice recipes but this is probably late for your girlfriend's birthday.  I'll just post it as a hub instead.  You might want to try them some other time.

'need to put my 2-year old son to sleep.  I'll come back hubbing in a little while.

I'm wishing you happiness theirishobserver smile

fried rice -- you have garlic then fry it with little butter or margarine, saute, mashed the rice, the if you have egg and shrimp,

heat the pan, put matagrine or butter, put the shrimp, then egg then rice, little salt will do

chicken curry, boil the chicken, put enough water once bolied put the chicken curry, carrots and whatever vegiies you like then, you can put chili little only, put little salt, thats it

I love to cook anything and everything. However, the one thing I don't know how to make is my mom's "beans & potatoes". It's a peasant dish (like a stew - sorta) she brought over from Italy, everyone LOVES it. It's even my husbands favorite meal at her house. Never turns down an invite. She always saves me some when she makes it but I really do need to get that recipe from her. A comfort food that brings up childhood memories.
