I just want to know what is the criteria to determine whether a hub is porn or contains excessive nudity.

I would like to know also.  The hub I saw had right in the profile an explicit sexual act.  If this kind of thing is not allowed in content, HOW in the world did a picture in a profile get by??

This issue has been raised in the forums before.  The key arbitor is Google AdSense.  They have strict guidelines on what is allowed.  Check out their terms and conditions.  I believe even female nipples are strictly banned, even if in an innocent context like breastfeeding.

This seems to be more a US thing.  In Europe nudity isn't considered pornographic so in many countries, ads for bath or hair products may feature some nudity.  This attitude is odd as it suggests that most art galleries around the world are pornographic.

Ok, well, why is HubPages allowing it, when they state 'adult' as one of the reasons to flag a hub?  How do you flag a profile? or can you?

It can't contain any nudity. Rik is correct, in that nipples are definitely not allowed.

If you see porn, flag/report it... don't come running here and wonder why no one has done anything, it's supposed to be YOU (ie the community).

It's not. As Relache suggests, flag it.

The criteria used to to determine whether a hub is porn or contains excessive nudity is that it has porn or excessive nudity.

I don't think you can, but you could report it.

If you see a user with an inappropriate profile image or links to adult sites in their bio, please send an email with link to the profile in question to team@hubpages.com so we can deal with it.
