How do you feel about the subject of prehistoric dragons? Why do so many cultures around the world depict dragons? Why is it that all of us seem to somehow know instinctively about dragons? How come all of us have seem to be able to conjure up an image of a dragon? With this said, how come there are no dragons in the historical textbook? Do you think that science will ultimately explain the dragon mythology concept. Or do you feel that dragons should be relegated strictly to mythology? What will transpire if the remnants of the dragons are finally discovered? Who will the experts be? If the remains of the dragons are discovered how will we be able to identify them?  Dragons are not dinosaurs. Should dragons be a scientific subject? What are your thought on the subject of dragons?

Why do you think dragons were not dinosaurs? This looks like the most plausible explanation. smile

Misha this is just a thought but what if dragons came from the sea and dinosaurs came from the land. Realize that the large scale prehistoric sea dinosaurs have not been recovered yet.

I have to agree with you on this theory Misha, as if people found dinosaur bones back in ancient times they may not have had any other way to explain them. Perhaps they were Pterodactyls!!!

Definitely passes the Occam's razor test, Cindy smile

And Seazoria, sea dinosaurs were (and still are!) sharks. The biggest modern one I believe is great white, but there were much bigger ones, and this is documented. Hold on, let me find a link.

Misha - that was so funny! lol

As long as dragons exist in our imagination - does it matter whether they really existed or not? smile

Not to that sort of site. Any links I leave are usually to either reputable sources or funny ones. That one might be funny, but it purports to be science when it is not. Not a big fan of deliberately lying to children. Are you?

Of course, I knew nothing about the alternative meanings, I though it was about a dragon sad
