Angry Birds Game Info

Warning! Angry Birds is an extremely addictive game. If you have recently lost your social life, suffer from cramps in your fingers or possibly even blurred vision then you are probably suffering from an angry bird addiction.

The Game

Angry Birds is a puzzle video game and was developed by Rovio in 2009. The games has 165 levels where you have to kill some evil green pigs that have stolen the birds eggs, how do you do this? simple you launch the birds at them of course! the games not called angry birds for nothing.. The pigs are staying in various places made from different materials like wood or glass etc your mission is to kill all the pigs using the birds as your missiles.

The players use a sling shot to launch the birds at the places the pigs are staying, the aim is to hit the pigs directly or damage the place in which they are staying, which could cause it to collapse onto the pigs, it can be hard to destroy stone walls so it is best to target the other structures first like the wooden ones. If all of the pigs have been defeated by the time the last bird is used, then the level is completed and the next level will be unlocked. you can re do the levels as much as you like in order to increase your score. There are quite a few different birds in the game but only the red one is available to you at the beginning of the game and the more you progress through the game the more birds become available to you. Some of the birds even have special powers that are activated by tapping the touchscreen while the bird is in flight.

red birds are used to attack by launching them at the places the pigs are in.

blue birds turn into three smaller birds

yellow birds are fast and will dash into their targets

black birds will explode when prompted or just after being in contact with an object

white birds will drop bombs shaped like eggs

Green birds will go back and fly in the opposite direction

purple birds are just like red birds except they are bigger so do more damage

You will be told how many birds you have at the beginning of each level and you will also see what type of bird's they are, but the birds must be launched in the order provided so you need to to strategically use each birds abilities in order to defeat the evil pigs. The pigs also come in different sizes and with different abilities, small pigs are weak and so easily destroyed whereas larger pigs are able to take more damage before being destroyed and some pigs wear armour making them even stronger than the others. Points are gained for every pig you destroy and every structure damaged, and points are also awarded for any unused birds at the end of your level.

Updates

Additional levels have been made as free Updates with 'poached eggs' in Dec 2009. 'Mighty Hoax' March 2010. 'Danger Above' in April 2010. 'The big setup' in July 2010. Also a bonus games was made in March 2010 called 'Golden Eggs' which contains levels and features that are unlocked by finding the golden eggs hidden throughout the game.

The Angry Birds Movie Plot

The 3D animated comedy film, Angry Birds was released in 2016 following the success of the popular and highly addictive game.

The film was animated by Sony Pictures Imageworks and produced by Rovio Animation.

Angry Birds Film is set on Bird Island, where all the flightless birds live. Red, who has anger issues, is made to take anger management classes which he is not happy about.

Later, the green pigs arrive on the Island and appear to make friends with the birds, however Red is suspicious when soon more pigs arrive and with the help of some of his class mates, they manage to track down the Mighty Eagle on top of Bird Mountain.

The mighty eagle is notorious as he is the only bird that can fly, but he has now become overweight and retired.

Red and his friends, see the pigs planting bombs while the birds are all at a party, and soon realise they are trying to steal the birds eggs. They rush to warn the birds but are too late, when the pigs make away with them, and the village is destroyed by their bombs.

Realising what has happened, Red and the other birds plot to get their eggs back and soon sail to Piggy Island, where they slingshot themselves over the castle wall.

Red, Chuck and Bomb find the eggs, where the pigs are planning to cook and eat them. The Mighty Eagle arrives, and flies the eggs out of the castle.

Later, Red, who has by now learnt to control his anger, is hailed a hero and the birds all help rebuild his house and move it to the middle of the village.
