- Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2: Release Date: March 2013. Systems: PC – stunning visuals and an amazing realism in this FPS.
- Gods of War: Ascension: Release Date: March 2013. Systems: PS3. A brilliant hack-n-slash style FPS with stunning graphics, great puzzles and an option for co-op play online.
Crysis 3 Quick Review

Crysis 3 takes the graphics and game play of this classic series to the next level and even the console version looks fantastic. Set in a post apocalyptic New York in 2047, this game sets the standard for other FPS games to follow. Superb atmospheric graphics enhance the game making it feel almost real. While the plot and game play aren’t that unique they are solid and most FPS lovers will feel at home immediately.
Whether you are a stealth player or an “up and at em” player you’ll find the game is intuitive enough for both styles of play – with the vast array of enemies, alien tech, weapons and other electronics to mess with you’ll have plenty to keep you busy.
Crysis 3 delivers on its promise and is a must buy for all FPS fans – the standard of graphics, the solid mechanics and the sheer fun make this well worth the money.
Watch Dogs Preview

Watch Dogs takes place in an open world in which the main character Aiden Pearce has the ability to hack into the city’s security and general operating systems that control every aspect of the city ranging from security cameras to traffic signals. The game is a combination first person shooter and adventure game that uses stealth, combat and surveillance to give the player several different methods to solve puzzles and objectives. The objectives range from hacking, distracting or saving other characters, causing accidents etc.
The graphics are excellent and provide superb atmosphere to the game; with the varied and unique game play it’s probably going to be a hit for this holiday season.

When it comes to online shooters they don’t come better than Defiance. This amazing open-world multiplayer shooter is set to dominate. With superb graphics, a tie-in to a TV show and the ability to compete in huge online battles this is going to be one of the best MMO type games of the year.
With a constantly changing environment, the game is going to be one of survival and allegiances are going to be very important. With a huge world to explore this game will appeal to the loner as well as those who love to team up.
Expect a huge variety of weapons (including alien tech), some massive battles involving huge ‘boss’ enemies and superb graphics!
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist Preview

This amazing franchise continues to get better with the pending game Blacklist. Reprising the role of Sam Fisher you are charged with protecting the innocent against a series of global terrorist attacks. The game follows the same format as prior Splinter Cell games and is one of the best tactical FPS games of all. With the classic weapons re-invented and the introduction of new devices the hardened player will find enough to keep them interested. The graphics continue to impress and simply look fantastic. Great franchise and hopefully a great game!
Bio Shock Inifinite Review

Bioshock Infinite is one of the most refreshing FPS games to appear for a long time. Based in 1912 you take on the role of Booker DeWitt and have to rescue Elizabeth. Elizabeth is an intriguing character whose ability to alter the environment enhances Booker’s abilities.
With a brilliant story and excellent graphics this is a very compelling game. Setting the game on a floating city is a very innovative idea and brings in a whole host of complications for the hardened FPS player. Generally it is very solid and varied and with the abilities of Elizabeth it creates a different feel to the genre. Excellent game.
