Black Ops 2 Hit Or Miss

Updated on June 22, 2012

Its Coming!

As some of you may or may not know as well as loving the Fifa series I am also a huge fan of Call Of duty, I have logged in countless days of playing time on Modern warfare 3 and have absolutely loved it even if I am average at best when it comes to the multi-player side of things. So was I excited when the new game was announced, well yes and no, At first I wasn't too bothered as I already knew what the game was going to be based on and the name of it as it was the worst kept secret in the gaming industry.

After seeing the E3 black ops 2 trailer that was shown worldwide I am a little more excited and am looking forward to getting my hands on some of this futuristic weaponry in the multi-player game. The black ops 2 release date is set in stone and is November 13Th 2012. A date that I have booked off work so I can get some serious Multi-player action in.

Black Ops 2 Campaign Mode

We know some details about the Black Ops 2 player campaign, for example, it carries on a from Black Ops although some years later and the campaign mode switches between 2025 in which we will run around toting some of the finest weaponry man has ever seen and then in between all of this we are switched in flashbacks back to the late 1980's.

The game revolves somewhat around rare earth elements which are used in the process of making futuristic weapons, these elements are controlled primarily by the Chinese but get taken control of by the tyrannical Menendez who plays a key character in the storyline. Your job, Get them back!!.In this game you will be able to control vehicles as the vehicles form part of this futuristic army that you must somehow stop.

It all looks terribly exciting and I'm hoping that a lot of the futuristic side of things are going to make an appearance in the multi-player mode as well.

Black Ops 2 Zombies

Zombie mode in the first Black Ops was so popular that you could of probably made a stand alone game of it and it would of sold as well as the main game. I never really got into it but then I didn't give it much of a chance, it is "addictive as hell" as one of my friends put it. So Black ops 2 Zombies is confirmed and most people cant wait for this. It has also been revealed that for the first time ever there will be a multi-player version of zombies which is what Treyarch are moving towards, Pairing up with your buddies to mow down the zombie hordes is going to be fantastic.

All we have had so far in terms of information is the fact we are getting zombies and it will be multiplayer, we have also been told that it will be set in a new world so we wont be seeing any normal maps from the rest of the game. We have also been given a picture that depicts a sexy looking female who is tooled up with weapons holding a zombie skull by her side.. Interesting.

Black Ops 2 Multiplayer

Ok so the part of the game I look forward to the most, In a recent poll 65% of people confessed to going straight to multi-player instead of playing the campaign mode which shows just how popular Multi-player is. So what do we know?, well the Multi-player mode (MP) is set entirely in 2025 which is good news for us guys and gals wanting to get our hands on some of that modern weaponry.

One of the rumours doing the rounds at the moment is that instead of having two weapons, and a primary and secondary grenade type scenario you will now be allocated a set number of points and you can mix and match however you wish, each grenade or radar or weapon will cost a certain amount of points so you could have two primary weapons and a radar or 5 or 6 grenades and a knife, It will depend on how you wish to spend the allocated points in your load-out.

It all sounds really good but it is all rumours for now so we will have to wait and see a bit nearer release date to see if it all comes true. For now though lets all just hope and pray it is as good as it looks.
