Black Ops 2 "Tranzit" Zombies: A Guide to Building the Turret

How to Build the Turret

Whether you like using the new Electric Trap, Zombie Shield, or other new items in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Zombies "Tranzit" mode, the Turret can by far, be your best weapon in defense against the never-ending hordes of undead. What is the turret and how do you use it? Better yet, how do you get one?

New to Zombies Mode is the ability to build new defenses in your quest, one of which is the new turret, kind of like the ones that debuted in Kino Der Toten, in the first Call of Duty: Black Ops game. This time, you have to build it yourself and unfortunately, will need a power supply to run the thing (in the form of the turbine).

So, first off, you will need to head to the Farm area of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 "Tranzit" zombies mode. Inside the house which will cost you 1000 points to open, you will find the engineering workbench, where you will build the turret. First you will need to find the three parts and add them to the workbench one at a time.

The first part can is a box of bullets which are usually on the table or shelf by the refrigerator storage. The second is an RPD which can be found upstairs near the Mystery Box or in the barn leaning up against the crates. The last piece of the turret is a lawn mower which is usually out back of the house near the fencing.

Once you have built the turret completely, you can equip it and set the turret in the desired location. You will need to have a turbine to operate the turret and beware of the bullets. You may have built the turret to protect you and your allies, but if you stray into the path of its shots, you will be shot and need to be revived, if your not dead of course already.
