Buy Corgi James Bond Cars

The Corgi James Bond Car range is a limited collectable range produced by Corgi. The range covers vehicles from all the James Bond films, from Goldfinger through to Quantum of Solace and is probably the most comprehensive and collectable range of 007 vehicles ever produced.

All in all at present there are 17 cars to collect and all are in the 1:36 scale and are highly detailed, down to the high-tech gadgetry. These cars are great for kids and who doesn't remember lying on the floor playing with Matchbox or Corgi cars and recreating scenes from movies. However these are also great for collectors and James Bond fans and look great when displayed. What better way of showing your appreciation for Ian Fleming's greatest creation than having a whole load of these motors lined up and shown off.

Ebay is a great source for Corgi James Bond Cars both new and used especially all the discontinued and rare cars and they can be at extremely reasonable prices, Ebay also gives you a huge variety to choose from as well as allowing you to still find items that are no longer available

Aston Martin DBS - Casino Royale No. CC03801

This car was the remarkable Aston Martin DBS as featured in the second Casino Royale movie. It comes in 1:36 scale and features opening doors, movable wing mirrors, alloy wheels and a seated James Bond figure. The actual model measures 5 inches by 2 inches.

The second Casino Royale movie was of course much more well known than the original one starring the once off Bond performance of George Lazenby who is currently sitting in the where are they now bin. The car that good old George drove is displayed later on in this hub and was probably one of the Classic Bond cars.

Aston Martin DBS - Quantum of Solace No. CC03802

This car was the remarkable Aston Martin DBS as featured in Quantum of Solace. It comes in 1:36 scale and features opening doors, movable wing mirrors, alloy wheels and a seated James Bond figure. The actual model measures 5 inches by 2 inches.

Quantum of Solace was of course the sequel to Casino Royale and featured another beautiful Aston Martin DBS and an amazing Six Aston Martins were destroyed during the filming and one lucky fan bought one of the surviving ones.

Aston Martin DB5 - Goldfinger No. CC04306

Perhaps the most famous Bond Car model in the series, the Aston Martin DB5 remains perhaps the most iconic car in the 007 films. This replica is the version used in the Goldfinger movie and features an ejector seat, machine guns, a rear bullet proof screen, chromed wing mirrors and a seated Bond figure.

Aston Martin DB5 - Casino Royale No. CC04309

Perhaps the most famous Bond Car model in the series, the Aston Martin DB5 remains perhaps the most iconic car in the 007 films. This replica is the version as seen in the first Casino Royale film and features a Bahamian number plate, Wing mirrors, Opening doors, Spoked wheels and a seated Bond figure.

Lotus Esprit - The Spy Who Loved Me No. CC04512

This was probably one of the more unusual of the Bond Car models in the series, the Lotus Esprit Underwater model. This replica is the version used by Roger Moore in the 1977 Bond movie The Spy Who Loved Me and features Sub-aquatic propellers, Surface to air missiles and Sub-aquatic fins. The model is in 1:36 scale and measures in at 4 3/4 inches long and 2 inches wide.

In the movie Roger Moore drove 2 different Lotus', one that was normal and another which had been specially modified to act as a submarine which Bond drives off a jetty and which then turns into a submarine. The actual car shown in the film that goes off the jetty was actually just a shell that was shot of the jetty by an air cannon.

Little Nellie Gyrocopter - You Only Live Twice No. CC04602

Another of the left of centre vehicles in the James Bond model series, the Little Nellie Gyrocopter. This replica is the version used in the You Only Live Twice movie and features rotating blades, working rocket launchers and lovely yellow paintwork as seen in the film. There is also a Bond figure in Khaki suit included.

This ingenious gyrocopter from the late 60's Connery-era Bond film packs into four suitcases positively bristles with weaponary, as Blofeld was to discover. The model is in 1:36 scale and measures in at 4 3/4 inches long and 2 inches wide.

The heavily armed "Little Nellie" was flown in the film its inventor Ken Wallis and was equipped with various pretend armaments by the special effects team. The battle sequences involving "Nellie" provide very troublesome involving more than 85 take-offs, 5 hours of flight and Wallis nearly crashing into the camera several times. Also one scene which involved filming the helicopters from above created a major updraft and ended up with one of the camera mans feet being severed by the craft's rotor.

Lotus Esprit Turbo - For Your Eyes Only No. CC04704

This vehicle is one of the more straightforward Bond Car models in the series, the Lotus Esprit Turbo model. This replica is the version used by Roger Moore in For Your Eyes Only and features spoked wheels and Roof mounted skis.

This classic sports car with its 2.2 litre turbo-charged engine proved more than a match for Bond's enemies. The model is in 1:36 scale and measures in at 4 3/4 inches long and 2 inches wide.

The Lotus Esprit Turbo although being a wonderful car somehow seemed more understated than other Bond cars and was perhaps symptomatic of the kind of lethargy that revolves around the Moore-Bond films of this era with Bond becoming more Roger Moore than Roger Moore ever became James Bond.

BMW Z3 - Golden Eye No. CC04904

This vehicle is another of the more straightforward Bond Car models in the series, the souped up BMW Z3 model. This replica is the version used by Pierce Brosnan in the Golden Eye movie and features reloadable Stinger missiles behind the headlights and figures of James Bond and Natalya Simonova.

I have some vintage Corgi diecast vehicles, and two Welsh Corgi dogs as well. It's very fun and profitable to collect yesterdays, and shelf them and later sell themn to fols looking for a memory.Great hub~~~MFB III
