Lego Kingdoms is a new medieval-related Lego Theme that was first produced in 2010 and was released in order to replace the Castle Series. The theme will follow more closely the real European Middle Ages and steer away from the fantasy inspired sets of Castle with its dwarves and elves although there will be dragons and sorcerers.

Kingdoms sets will be based around two competing Kingdoms. The Green Kingdom are more attacking, along with their siege engines and vehicles. The Red Kingdom are more defensive and their sets are based on buildings and fortifications.T

The King's Castle Set was released in 2010 and features a castle with rectangular walls with towers in each corner and a gatehouse at the front with a drawbridge and a portcullis, also included are 8 minifigures a Red King and 4 Red soldiers, 1 Green Knight and 2 Green Soldiers. The set contains a massive 933 pieces.

This castle is the Castle of the Red King and is a large rectangular castle with towers. One of the rear towers has two stories and a red square hip roof. The castle is equipped with a catapult and also features a wind-up front gate, a tipping draw bridge and a secret prison

Once upon a time, the King ruled the land and all was good – until the day the Green Knight army attacked. Now the valiant King and his soldiers prepare to defend the castle. The catapults are armed, the drawbridge is up and the gate is locked.

The Prison Tower Rescue Set or the Dark Knight Tower Set was released in 2010 and features a huge tower that belongs to the Green Kingdom, also included are 5 minifigures 2 Green Soldiers, 1 Red Knight on a white horse, 1 Red Soldier and 1 Princess. The set contains a satisfying 365 pieces.

This Tower is the Stronghold of the Green Kingdom and where they have imprisoned the Red Princess and has a rat and two small dragons. The Tower includes a wind-up front gate, hidden stairs and ladders, a tower prison and a treasure chest.

The Green Knights have captured the fair Red princess and locked her in their tower. The Red King’s brave Knight sets forth to rescue her, but the tower is heavily fortified and well defended. Can he break through the iron gate and past the catapult to free her?

The Outpost Attack Set was released in 2010 and features a small tower that belongs to the Red Kingdom and a catapult, also included are 3 minifigures 2 Red Soldiers and 1 Green Soldier. The set contains 194 pieces.

This Tower is an Outpost of the Red Kingdom and features a falling wall function. There is also a Giant Catapult of the Green Kingdoms that flings Lego bricks.

On the borders of the King's land, the outpost is the Red Kingdom’s first line of defense. Two of the King’s brave Red soldiers are preparing to repel the Green Knight soldier and his giant catapult.

The Prison Transport Set was released in 2010 and features a prison cart and a black horse, also included are 3 minifigures 2 Red Soldiers and 1 Green Soldier. The set contains 50 pieces.

The prison cart has space on it so that a Red Soldier can drive and the Black Horse has a unicorn helmet.

The Kingdoms Advent Calendar is due to be released in late 2010 in time obviously for the Christmas market and will feature a whole host of weapons, catapults and 9 minifigures. The set will contain 167 pieces.
