Buy Mega Bloks Dinosaurs

Updated on October 24, 2013

Mega Bloks Dinosaurs or Dinobloks

The Mega Bloks Dinosaur series was a small group of sets released in the early 1990s that allowed you to build some large dinosaurs using loads and loads of bricks. These sets had large baseplates that were irregular in shape and pretty strong and represented the rough terrain that these dinosaurs would inhabit. In addition the sets also included foliage elements, such as brush and tree canopies to make very nice display models.

These sets are older Mega Bloks sets and Mega Bloks has since released a new line of Dinosaur models in their Mega Bloks Plasma line.

Mega Bloks is a Canadian Toy company that produces building blocks that are exactly similar to Lego they hold many licensing agreements to produce related items plus other sets. These sets are similar in design and size to Lego sets and make a good alternative to Lego sets for Christmas and Birthday presents particularly since many of the franchise lines are exclusive to Mega Bloks.

Much of this information is courtesy of a great resource for all things relating to Mega Bloks - Blok City which has a great deal of information about these and other Mega Bloks Sets

Some of these sets are still available in the shops and they often come up on Ebay where they can be bought for very reasonable prices.
