The Mega Bloks King Arthur Range is a new group of playsets released to coincide with the ever popular Merlin TV series and the ever-green story book legends of King Arthur and his knights.With this range of sets you can delve into the legend of King Arthur, battle with the Knights of the Round Table and even build the mystical Camelot

Mega Bloks is a Canadian Toy company that produces building blocks that are exactly similar to Lego they hold many licensing agreements to produce related items plus other sets. These sets are similar in design and size to Lego sets and make a good alternative to Lego sets for Christmas and Birthday presents particularly since many of the franchise lines are exclusive to Mega Bloks.

This set was released in December 2008 and is a huge replica of King Arthurs Castle, Camelot along with loads of moving parts allowing for real Battle Action. This set features 6 movable minifigures with weapons including King Arthur figurine, 2 Knights of the Round Table, Sir Percival and Sir Bedivere, 2 dark knights to fight against, a galloping battleaction horse, and an activated flying gryphon creature. This set contains a massive 550 pieces.

This fully working Battle Action Castle opens out into battle mode with flag-covered, cannon launchers with projectiles and rock sliders along with 3 rocks, plus battle damage castle walls that crumble for dramatic war action. There is the amazing drawbridge where you can turn a crank to lower the bridge. You can use your stunt stick (MicroMotion controller) to help King Arthur remove Excalibur  from the stone and watch as the working drawbridge magically opens to reveal a gateway to Camelot. There is also a killing wheel that rolls out to attack enemies foes when a secret door is activated. Take advantage of the swivel surprise attack door complete with 3 detailed defense weapons and the ability to hide up to 2 of your knights.

The round table has a place reserved for all 12 of the knights, complete with nametags. There are also plates and goblets fit for a kingly feast. Check out the treasure, throne, forge, prison, King Arthur's hunting dog plus lots of other details that bring Camelot to life.

This set was released in December 2008 and is a huge buildable warship for the royal adventures as King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, Although I must admit that I wasn't aware that there was much sea-going action in the King Arthur legends. This set features 5 movable minifigures with weapons including Mordred, the leader of the dark knights, 3 of his knights and 1 Knight of the Round table, all come with MicroMotion Controllers. There is also a MicroMotion model of a 5-headed Hydra, with swivel action for the main head and poseable smaller heads. This set contains a massive 176 pieces.
