General Crafting Achievements

These are all achievements in Diablo 3 which are neither specific to the Jeweler or the Blacksmith and can encompass using them both in one way or another. There are sub categories of achievements for each one specifically which can be found here:

Made to Order

Craft 5 items.
Unlocks the Full Waves banner pattern.

Craft a combined total of 5 of any items from any of your artisans. Should be pretty easy to unlock with the Blacksmith alone.

Custom Fit

Craft 100 items.
Unlock the Great Shield banner sigil.

Same deal as before, just now 100 items crafted total versus 5. Something that will come to everyone, probably the most from combining gems.

Makers of Masterpieces

Craft 200 artisan level 10 items.

From the sounds of it, you are being asked to create 200 top tier items, or at least close to top tier. Definitely going to be a long term achievement which the most dedicated (and rich from the sound of it) players will have. The final level gems will qualify for this and probably be the biggest boost to this overall number, however they are still pretty expensive to make.

Reclaim Without Shame

Salvage the following types of items.

  • Armor
  • Weapon
  • Amulet
  • Ring

This is pretty easy and self explanatory. Pops once at least one of each of these items has been put through the recycling plant. There will definitely be some low level magic crap you'll find to salvage before leaving the first couple acts.

One Hero's Trash...

One Hero's Trash...

Salvage each of the following crafting materials.
Unlocks the Crossed Maces sigil accent.

  • Subtle Essence (magic items)
  • Fallen Tooth (rare items)

These are salvage materials that fall out of normal level weapons, those having level requirements of 1-29. You can salvage rares to get the yellow salvage guaranteed, but salvaging enough magic items will eventually yield a Fallen Tooth.

One Warrior's Trash...

Salvage each of the following crafting materials.

  • Shimmering Essence (magic items)
  • Lizard Eye (rare items)

Same idea as before, now with the nightmare difficulty items which are levels 30-49.

Too Good to Toss

Salvage each of the following crafting materials.

  • Wishful Essence (magic items)
  • Encrusted Hoof (rare items)

These crafting materials are salvaged from hell level items, which have level requirements of 50-59.

Resource Management

Salvage each of the following crafting materials.

  • Exquisite Essence (magic items)
  • Iridescent Tear (rare items)
  • Fiery Brimstone (legendary)

Salvaging level 60 items will be the only way to get these materials.

The Garbage Disposal

Complete the crafting achievements listed below.
Unlocks a banner sigil.

  • One Hero's Trash...
  • One Warrior's Trash...
  • Too Good to Toss
  • Resource Management

This group of achievements encompasses everything having to do with retrieving the specific salvage materials from salvaging items.

Recipe for Success

Complete the recipe and design achievements listed below.

  • Perfect Gemology
  • Death Metalworking

These two achievements revolve around teaching the Jeweler 12 and the Blacksmith 100 of the world drop design/recipe plans. Probably the hardest achievement here due to the random nature of drops and probable high price for most of them in the Auction House.

The Exalted Few

Complete the artisan level achievements listed below.
Unlocks a sigil accent.

  • A Life With Meaning
  • Just A Hobby

These are the max level requirements for your two artisans, probably something that will be easier, even if still a test of its own, to accomplish.
