De Blob Walkthrough 36: The Docklands Part 1

Updated on March 30, 2009

This first area doesn’t have much, but you should probably take some time to color the 4 trees in this area.

You will notice that there are some of those Elite Inkies in the area below.  I would go ahead and take them out, as they don’t seem to replicate themselves after they are defeated.

You will soon notice two green challenge arrows.  Go ahead and take the one to the right.  This is the First Challenge, which is to color a bunch of crates orange.  It isn’t too difficult.

You might notice that one stack of crates is near a building.  You should go ahead and get to the top of it and take the Second Challenge. Coloring this whole area will free the First Raydian Batch for a total of 8.

Go ahead and go back to the area where there were once two green challenge arrows.  You should select the one left, and this Third Challenge involves painting some cranes green.  The easiest way is to paint the three that you see before you, and then use the Z-pad.  You will be able to jump to another crane from here, and the challenge will be over.

The next gold challenge arrow is the Fourth Challenge, located where you received the last challenge.  You should probably use the fountain to wash off and get some yellow on you.  Then proceed to the ship, hopping on the crates.  Be careful with the one electro-plated place, an be certain to press the switch or you could lose a life.  As long as you have 50 yellow paint points by the time you reach your goal, you will be okay.  This is the First Landmark

The Fifth Challenge will reveal itself right in front of you.  All you need to do is paint the entire area of the ship yellow.  The electroplates have been removed, so you don’t have to worry about them.  There are also plenty of yellow paintbots around.

What you need to do now is go below decks.  If you go to the bow of the ship, you can go underneath, or there is a small rectangular hole located below the landmark on this ship.  Go ahead and free the Second Raydian Batch for a total of 15.  You can also get the First Style.

Exit the ship, and you should probably use your compass to find the Sixth Challenge.  You need to paint a whole section purple.  You should notice that the place where you received this challenge has the Second Style, so go and get it.  You should have plenty of time.  Painting this area will free the Third Raydian Batch for a total of 23.
