Updated on November 20, 2012

Intro

In this guide I will talk about the easiest way or you to get from level 1-7 on the zombies maps. This will be a general guide for all of the zombies maps, and can be applied to any zombies map throughout Black Ops, Black ops 2, or the World At War games.

Before I go any further, if you like what you see, and want the latest guides for Black Ops 2, and many other video games, feel free to follow me on Twitter @Johnrr631992, or Twitter.com/Johnrr631992 where I post all my guides 24 hours before they are published on Google.

Also you can ask questions on Xbox at my gamer tag MKS JohnR, space between the two.

And lastly feel free to ask questions in the comments section below, where I will be able to assist you any way I can and will try to answer either way within 24 hours.

ALSO!!! - I am starting a new clan. If you are reading this feel free to message me on Xbox Live, or on Twitter. As of now I am only open to people on Xbox, but will be moving multi-platform in December/January. So please feel free to contact me with questions. Also I will have a Website specifically for the clan, and it will be pretty big.

Zombies mode in general.

Overall zombies mode is a game mode that is very popular among players. It is a strategy game that allows the play to attempt and survive many rounds, and get as far as they can. Each round zombies get tougher, and more of them come. In the end your overall goal is to survive as long as you can, and to make the best out of your experience. This is where I come in. I am here to teach you the basics to get you from level 1-7.. Once you do this on solo then you will be able to last forever. Because its the first few levels that are tough that are crucial in order for you to get going. This will be the hardest time for most, but also once you get past here you should have no problem surviving for much higher rounds in the long run.

Strategy..

So when you are attempting to play Zombies, then you are focused on getting as far as you can. Obviously zombies is much tougher by yourself, but keep in mind that you should still have no problem surviving and getting far. So lets talk about how you should go about those first few rounds..

Round 1.. On this round you should attempt to just use your knife. This is a way for you to get maximum amounts of points, and your should be able to knife the enemy, and easily get a decent amount of points for round 2.

Round 2.. If this was a team game, and not the solo, I would suggest knifing again BUT this is a solo guide. SO you may need to use your gun here. This may be necessary for you to use your pistol, or buy a gun off the wall. When buying a gun off the wall you usually have the option of a shotgun, or rifle. I personally like them both equally and think they are both effective. On a side not do not buy them both, one will be fine until you get further on in the game.

Round 3.. once again you should use your gun and still be in that first room with no doors open. Save your money, and remember that the longer you can survive without having to open a door then the better your chances are of getting further in the game. So stay in the initial room for round 3.

Round 4... Same as above. You should attempt to stay in the same room, and try to defend off as long as you can. At the end of the round this is where I would normally suggest that you should focus on making a crawler by throwing a grenade at a zombie. This will allow you to find the mystery box, or move on to the next room comfortably without rushing into things.

Round 5.. Depending on the map you should have either hit the mystery box, be in a new room with a machine gun, or be preparing for dogs, or be preparing to hold you ground. Now is when things begin to get tougher, and when you are going to need to focus to survive.

Round 6.. At the end of round 5 if you didn't make a crawler then definitely make one here. Each round you should be making a crawler to learn the map, get new guns, ammo, perks, or to get further on the map. This is the time for you to do things, and learn the maps, ESPECIALLY at lower rounds when making crawlers is easy.

Round 7.. The final level for this guide. This is going to be another round of just surviving. If by now you have not gotten to the mystery box depending on the map itself, then you should definitely find it at the end of this round. Make a crawler and go and try to find that mystery box. This is going to be a crucial part of you being successful on the game is to start hitting that box in attempts to get some of the power weapons.

Strategies overall..

The number one strategy for people playing on SOLO is that you should run in a circle. A BIG circle around the map. This is crucial in the long run if you want to survive, and be successful. Remember zombies rarely run fast, and they do not run faster than you. So you should focus on running in a big circle in order to be able to take out the enemy, and be able to overall have success. This is the easiest strategy for people to follow, and a number of people of have success with this strategy. This makes it very hard to die, and at the same time very easy for you to get a decent number of kills, and points per round. This will not be as effective when playing with friends, but is extremely effective when playing solo mode.

Summary

Remember that practice makes perfect, and that you will make mistakes. It will take a decent amount of time for you to get very good at what you are doing, and by then you will be able to be successful either way. You will be able to go on multiple rounds and survive. In the beginning it is crucial to save money, for the long haul ahead. Overall you should find that success comes with effort, and that the more you practice, and learn the ways of zombies, the easier the game gets.
