Everybody Dance Game Review
Dance! Dance! Dance!
Everybody Dance is a dancing game for PlayStation 3 that I recently bought for myself just for the fun of it. I wasn't sure what I'd think of it at first. I mean basically I've always stuck with my Just Dance games so this was a little different and I was stepping out of my comfort zone. I have plenty of things to say about this game though. The title fits it well basically everybody can dance.
There are different difficulty levels that you can choose from. The basic three that you can often choose from when you play video games. Beginner, intermedient and the last is called professional. This is something that the Just Dance games do not offer for players so this is a plus. The more you play and get used to it you can increase the level until you eventually can play the professional level.
Song selection for this game is pretty good as well. Actually I was surprised that I could admit that I enjoyed the songs better than the ones the Just Dance games had to offer me. Some of the songs on there are well known ones like Rihanna's Rude Boy or LMAO Party Rock Anthem. There's even an R. Kelly song on there. And just like Just Dance 2 and 3 you can buy more songs for the game. Except when you buy more songs they come in packages so they cost more money but it's well worth it.
The dance moves can be a little more difficult. At first time playing it I had no idea what I was doing. That's why I think it's best to start out on beginner until you catch onto what the moves are. However because of the moves are difficult they are also more cool. This game gets you moving more than other dancing games I have played and I actually really enjoy myself. Before I know it an hour of playing has gone by.
The dancer on the screen is more realistic. It's actually a real person who is dancing. You just mimic the dancer like you do in other dancing games. Unlike other ones in this game you can also sing. You can hook up a microphone or sing through the microphone on the camera that comes with the system. However I don't think you should try the singing out until you get the dance moves down. Believe me doing the dance moves along with singing at the same time can be very difficult.
Okay so this game offers amazing dance moves, awesome graphics, singing. When I compare it to black eye peas experience, Michael Jackson experience and the just dance games this game is probably my favorite of all time. If I had to rate it between one to five stars I would have to say four stars. I would give it five stars except that some of the dance moves may be too difficult for some to catch onto. No matter what though this game is surely a must try. Two thumbs up for Everybody Dance!
