The Best Inflatable Indoor Ball Pit For Toddlers and Kids
As a parent of a rambunctious toddler and preschooler, I am always looking for great indoor activities to keep my little ones active. One of my favorite options is an inflatable indoor ball pit for toddlers. Maybe it’s my fond memories of playing in the ball pits at Show Biz Pizza when I was a child, but I absolutely love ball pits! And, having one at home definitely has it’s benefits. For starters, you can kick off your shoes and relax on the couch while your child plays to his hearts content. And, when it comes to dinner, you aren't stuck with over-priced cardboard-tasting pizza and fountain drinks.
There are a lot of great deals on indoor ball pits and you can find one in almost any price range. But be careful, there are some flimsy, poorly built ball pits on the market. Knowing your kid will likely spend hour after hour climbing, bouncing and jumping on the ball pit, I recommend spending a little more for a high-quality durable ball pit.
We will soon be looking for a larger inflatable ball pit that can accommodate more than one child at a time. The only thing more fun than playing in a ball pit on a rainy day, is sharing that joy with a friend. I’m particularly fond of the that comes with 440 crush-proof balls. It’s designed for indoor use and, with an 82-inch jumping surface, can hold two kids at one time, up to 120 pounds. It’s a great indoor ball pit that is well balanced and won’t tip over. This is going to be the next big toy purchase in our household. I can’t wait to get it set up in time for my little one’s birthday party. You can also purchase the jump-o-lene and balls separately. Intex Phthalate Free Jump-O-Lene
Of course, chemical safety is a major concern with the purchase of any children’s toy. Luckily, there are several phthalate-free ball pits on the market, something that was very important to me when searching for the right ball pit for our family. Phthalate is a chemical additive to rubberized PVC Vinyl that has been identified to be a health concern for young children under 6. The fact that it’s phthalate free is another great benefit of the Intex Jump-o-lene. When it comes to physical safety, the jump-o-lene again scores high marks; the sides make it virtually impossible to fall out.
When you do purchase you ball pit, make sure to order plenty of extra balls. Somehow, over time, balls seem to make it out of the pit and onto other adventures, and it’s nice to be able to keep the pit full.
The great thing about a ball pit, and particularly the jump-o-lene is that it allows little ones to run and bounce to their hearts content, burning off a ton of energy in the process. When the weather doesn't permit a lot of outdoor time, this is a great way to keep kids active and entertained. An inflatable ball pit is more than indoor entertainment; it really is an indoor exercise option. If you are looking for a fun, active, and engaging indoor activity for your kids, look no further than an indoor ball pit. Your kids will thank you!
