Most of LEGO City's collectibles are found in the hard-and-fast districts, among buildings and alleyways and trees and so forth. There are a few things hidden in the passages between districts, though, and these can be hard to find simply because they're so easy to forget. This article will cover the small array of collectibles in the Crosstown Tunnel and Grand Canal.

Crosstown Tunnel

The longest underground road in the game, the Crosstown Tunnel can easily be ignored - but is really handy if you want to move quickly along the main sections of LEGO City without unlocking Train Stations. It's nice and easy to explore thanks to its straightforward nature.

Pagoda Entrance

Turn into a Robber and have a look along the right side of the tunnel. You'll see quite a few enclosures lining the walls. In each one is a Super Brick. The only exception is the one with the orange handles; this you'll need Rex Fury to bust open. Inside it is a Red Brick.

Bright Lights Plaza Entrance

The opposite side of the tunnel is much the same as the first. You have to break into the doors with an axe, granted, but it's still filled with Super Bricks. The main difference is another orange handle enclosure, within which you will find the Rex's Galican collectible.

Grand Canal

The Grand Canal is an underground waterway that you could easily enter only once during your stay in LEGO City, stretching from Pagoda to Fresco. We'll begin our search at the Fresco entrance, as it's much easier to find a boat in Fresco's canals.

Go down the left branch to start. Hop out of your boat to the right side of the branch to find a Super Brick. You'll see two more Super Bricks further down the tunnel. Eventually the path will expand, and you'll find a small area with fenced enclosures. In one is the Brad Hoggle collectible; in the other is a coffee break spot, worth a Gold Break; in the last is a Super Brick. Keep running down this side of the tunnel and you'll find a Red Brick in another enclosure. There's one last Super Brick at the end of the walkway.

The right branch is much the same as the left. There are more walkways, more Super Bricks and a few more enclosures. There's also a ton of rocks along the walkways, and if you plow through them you'll eventually come to a boulder. Bust it up for a Gold Brick.
