Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 Walkthrough Part 32: Index

Time to head back to Hogwarts and get all the rewards you can. You will be in the Second Potions Room, but it will be one that you have already received the rewards here. Exit here to the Potions Classroom, and then you will be in the Second Grand Hall.

Go ahead and head to the right, and go up the stairs. You will then have to do some things here to earn a spell block of Transfiguration. I’m not certain why this is not part of the whole main levels, but here it is.

Harry needs to step in the area and transform two weird-looking robots into frogs. You will see a board with a check mark on it for each character. Then switch to Ron and do the same thing. Hermione then needs to do it, and then you will earn a Gold Brick.

There is a doorway on the right with a metal lock that has to be blasted off. Enter into the Transfiguration Test Room. You will then need to shoot the robots as they come forward, transforming them into smaller creatures until they are trapped in the cages. You will have to fill these cages with three small animals, which will be represented by check marks. Once you have completed this, go ahead and pick up a Gold Brick.

You can also pick up Character: Professor Mcgonagall.

In the left hand corner of the room is a board that will spin when you zap it. Behind the board is Character: Fred Weasley.

Go ahead and head back to the Second Grand Hall. You will need to go around the corner, and you will see some statues on pillars. Hit the first one, and it will reveal Character: Lee Jordan.

You should probably jump off the edge of the balcony, and go out the door to the right. You will be in this outer area, and you will notice that when you shoot out the door, a truckload of studs will come out. You will also note this weird mushroom thing with legs that you can ride. You can trample over some of the weeds and other plants easily, and mushrooms will grow. I’m not certain what this does, but I noticed that when I shot the mushrooms and other bushes, I would get ingredients for the cauldron like the thorn, tooth, and skeletal arm. You could use the Polyjuice potion in the other room to become a strong character, or you could just drink this and make it easy on yourself.

Go ahead and pull on the chain, and rings will appear in the air. Go ahead and get Harry on one of those brooms, and you will be able to go through all of the rings to get Character: Oliver Wood.

You will then need to up the stairs to the right and up to get to Professor’s Trelawney’s classroom. You will note that the cauldron has become Polyjuice, and before you go, you should become Griphook and a character that uses Dark Magic, like Professor Snape.

In the corner of the classroom is a black cabinet that needs some dark magic. It will have Character: Hermione (Blue Top).

In this same corner is a safe that Griphook needs to open. Open it up, and you will get Character: Professor Trelawney.

That is about all that is in this particular room. Go ahead and forget about that other exit, as I’ll discuss that later. Just head back to the Second Grand Hall, and go all the way to the left and up that stairwell. Take the first door you will see and you will be in Lupin’s Training Room.

In the back there will be a chest with a metal lock. Zap the lock, and then use levitation on it. This will make a doorway to the Deadly Gear Room. You’ll see why I call it that in a bit.

The first thing you will need to do is zap three lamps, this the first of seven. In addition to Lamp 1/7, Lamp 2/7, and Lamp 3/7, there is another one of something that you have to get. The bogart here is 1/5, and must be removed.

You will notice something here that can levitate and form a small elevator to the next level. Go on and zap the spider web, and you can also zap something to get the Student in Peril. (I’m not certain what will happen how to free him, I just shot up this room and he was free.) You will then have a Gold Brick.

There is also some Devil’s Snare around a chest, and you should use Lumos on it. You should have Bogart 2/5. Behind the spiderweb is the tooth, grab it, and then you will have to walk on the deadly gears. You will find that you have to stay on the teeth or edge of one to avoid steam damage. You will also find that you can’t easily jump to wear you need to go. You will have to jump in a slot when it levels out and get up to the area with all the gears.

You will note that you can shoot the gears, so do it. Some parts will fall out, and you can levitate them to build a small man. This will cause a chest to descend, and you can shoot Bogart 3/5 here. You might note the skeletal arm that it leaves behind.

You can also shoot Lamp 4/7 here too.

There is a Pixie here that needs to be shot so a chest will drop. Shoot it, and take out Bogart 4/5. You will note a thorn is here.

Go ahead and levitate some things that will form some stairs. You can then ascend the stairs and you will see some banners that are colored red, green, yellow, and blue. Shoot all three of them, and you will be rewarded with Character: Harry (Maze Task).

You can also shoot Lamp 5/7, Lamp 6/7, and Lamp 7/7. You will then unlock Character: Vicktor (Tuxedo).

You will probably have lost that tooth thing that you had earlier, so you should go back and get it, as well as the skeletal arm and thorn that I discussed earlier. Put them in the cauldron and pull on the chain. The fifth chest will fall, and you will hit Bogart 5/5.

This will give you Red Brick: Regenerate Hearts. Give it to the owl by the door.

Head back to Lupin’s Training room, and hopefully you will still be working a character with Dark Magic. Go ahead and use him to unlock a gate, and he will be able to claim Character: Ginny Weasley.

Keep going in this room and you will be in the Musty Attic.

You will notice a Pixie on a pendulum in front of you, and it needs to be zapped so you can move on. This will be Pendulum 1/4. You can then do the same thing to Pendulum 2/4. The next section will have a bogart, but it still is the same thing: take out Pendulum 3/4. After Pendulum 4/4, you will unlock Character: Draco Malfoy.

In the corner there is a chest and a bogart, but its just studs. You really want to head down the stairs.

You will then be the Musty Attic Downstairs, and the stairs behind you will crumble. Uh-oh. You’ll need to find another way out. You could go to the left, but all that is there are some studs. You should probably go to the right, but you will need to zap a pixie on a moving platform. You can then cross over on two other platforms moving up and down. You then have to zap some other pixies to stop platforms from moving, and eventually you will be on some ground on the other side.

Here you can unlock Character: Professor Quirrell.

You will also notice to big pillars with two pixies. You will need to shoot the pixies, and the pillars will come slamming down. This will dump a statue of a pixie, who will have Gold Brick.

This will open a door, and you will be back in Lupin’s Training Room. Go ahead and head to the Second Grand Hall and stay on the floor you are on.

You will notice as you walk around the corner there is some red box that you can use some dark magic on. You will have Character: Millicent Bullstrode.

Go around the corner and into the Reducto Room. There is a big black ball here that needs a touch of dark magic. You will find Red Brick: Fast Magic, and will need to deliver it to the owl in the corner.

Go back to the Second Grand Hall, and jump to the bottom floor. Go out the left door to the West Hallway. In this hall, there is metal rock with a bunch of studs.

Take the first door that you come to (the door to the right of the painting), and you will be in the Lumos classroom. Hopefully, you will have Griphook, as he will open a safe in the left hand corner of the room. This will cause a trapdoor to fall away.

You will then be in the Dank Sewer. You will notice that there are two levels here. On the topmost level, you cannot go any further to the right becomes some claws ineventably knocks you off. I found that the solution was to go down here as Hermione (something that has to be done before you jump down there, by the way, use a polyjuice cauldron). Let here release Crookshanks, and the cat can cross the water and go underneath the gate. It can then bounce on a trampoline of a web, and then the other characters will join it.

By the gate, there is a bogart here. You should take it out and get Character: Professor Flitwick. Also, if you go back into the water, and all the way to the right, you will find the Student in Peril here, not to mention a Gold Brick.

You can then go to the right by making sure the things that are crawling out of the wall don’t knock you over. You will then be in Dark Sewer 2.

In the right side of this room will be a snake door, and you will need someone who speaks Parseltongue. If you don’t have someone, I can tell you how to get out of there so you can return with someone.

When the snake door is opened, there will be a big black ball. Go on and use dark magic, and you will have Red Brick: Character Brick Detector unlocked when you drop it off at the owl in the center of the room.

Also in this room, you will notice some skeletal hands on the wall. Get close to them with Lumos and they will retract. You will then have Gold Brick. This will open a door that you can use to leave the room.

You should then go to the West Hall, and then to the Room to the left of the vandalized portrait. You will be in the Wingguardium Room. If you make the steps all the way up there, you will find a book case in between the two weights that can be manipulated. You will then get Character: Boy.

Okay, you will notice that on the floor is a big metal padlock. Before you open it, you should probably make certain you have these three characters. Hagrid, Hermione, and a Dark magic guy. I will explain why.

Jump in, and you will be in the Dungeon. You can then head right. You can open up a cabinet, and it will contain a whole lot of studs. You can then go more right and pass a dragon (or dragon statue, probably). Zap the two white balls near him, and levitate the arm and head on him. The stony dragon will come to life, and you can unlock Character: Mad-Eye Moody.

In the other corner to the right, you will notice that far up is someone wrapped in a web. Go ahead and free the Student in Peril, and get the Gold Brick.

There is also a big black ball here that you can free with dark magic. You will then find Red Brick: Extra Hearts.

Okay, I think it is obvious why a dark magic character was needed, but as far as Hermione and Hagrid are concerned, I want to tell you that this room is easy to get stuck in. If you walk up to the dragon, it will flip you up in the air. If you are Hagrid, you will go to the top and escape. If you are another character, you will just see yourself almost make it.

I had to look this one up, but apparently, if you are stuck down there, then saving won’t help. At least it will hopefully default you to Harry, Ron, and Hermione. You can then take CrookShanks, and have him go all the way to the left in this room, and then jump, and try to switch back to Hermonie. Somehow this gets you out. This is just a glitch in the game.

When you do get out of the Dungeon, you should hit Gold Brick on the way up. If not, trick it again.

Go ahead and head back to the Second Grand Hall. Take the second door as you come in, and you will be in the First Grand Hall.

Time to go someplace where you haven’t been. Go ahead and find the bogart that lives in one corner here, and then take it out. You will find a key, so take it to the stairwell that goes to the left. Unlock the door and you will be in the Library.

You will notice that in one corner of the Library is a cauldron, and you will need to have the snake, banana, and twig. This is so you can get an aging potion that will get you to the next area.

The snake is quite easy to find. Just go to the one corner of the room that has a devil’s snare over a chest. Use Lumos on the Devil’s snare, and zap the chest. The snake will be right there for you to put in the Cauldron.

As for the banana, you will notice that one of the windows on the left side of the room as a blind that can be blasted. You will then need to levitate, and you will find a bat underneath that will drop off some fruit, including a banana. Put that in the cauldron.

For the twig, you need to blast another blind on the windows of the left side. This time a torch will come out. Levitate the torch, and it will light fires on three statues. Go to the one by a statue of the Red Wizard, and shoot it. The flame will cause the Wizard to run to another portrait on the other side of the room. He will put his rear in some water, which will then spill from the portrait, causing some plants to grow below him. Go ahead and get the twig.

The plants will grow, and you can also jump on them and be propelled upward to get Character: Susan Bones.

Before you leave, you might notice a metal door on the right side of the room. Go on and shoot it, and you will have yourself parts. Levitate the parts to form a radio, and shoot it. Soon some skeletons will be dancing, and you will have yourself Character: Ravenclaw Girl.

To get to the next section, you will need to go into the corner by the portrait, and levitate a pair of glasses to her. She will then hand you something back that you can place in the door. This will open the door, and you will need a beard to get in. I found that I could bring in Hagrid without the potion. Just use the polyjuice to transform him.

You will now be in the Restricted Section.

You might notice on the right side is a locked cabinet. If you open it, some parts will fall out of it. You should levitate them to make a cart. You can then ride the cart to pick up about five pink books scattered about. You will then unlock Character: Alicia Spinnet.

By the locked cabinet is also a pile of books that can be levitated. You have to manipulate them so the red one goes into the red section, the green in the green, and yellow with the yellow. When you do that, Red Brick: Red Brick Detector will be unlocked when you take the owl.

On the left side of this place is a book that one character has to stand on while another character levitates. From here, it is about bouncing to the book stack and up. You will notice that a ghost will try and repel you, but you can shoot it, and it will go away. You will also notice that on the railing is a brown wizards hat. Shoot it, as this is Hat 1/3.

Go ahead and get some earmuffs on. While you are here, use the dark magic on the red section here. For some odd reason, this will bring about some enemies like a giant spider, a dementor, and then a big hornet. Kill them all, and you will get Character: Wizard (Red).

Jump your earmuffed self down to the right side. You will notice that on the right side is a red book. If it is levitated, it will dump out some dirt, and you will have to use Crookshanks or some character who can dig to get it out. It will give you a ladder to the upper area.

You will then have to take yourself in Earmuffs to grab the Mandrake and move it to the pot in the corner. You will free the Student in Peril, and get the Gold Brick.

You will notice a brown hat on the shelves. This is Hat 2/3.

In one corner, you will see two pixies holding up what looks like a book. Zap them, and the book will become a Wizard’s hat. Zap this for Hat 3/3. This will create a circle of studs on the floor, as well as Gold Brick.

Go ahead and head to the First Grand Hall take out all the torches that you see in this room with levitation. Torch 1/9 is in the left corner. Torch 2/9 and Torch 3/9 are on the left side of the stairs. Torch 4/9 and Torch 5/9 are on the right side with the stairs. Torch 6/9 is in the right corner.

You will then be in the Outdoor Hall. Go to the exit on the right. Go ahead and go out to the left. You can take out Torch 7/9 here. You can also hit that lock on the wall before the left exit and get Panel 1/3. I’ll explain the importance of these things later.

Keep going until you are in the Outdoor Fountain Area. In fact, why not go to that fountain now. If you smash all the statues around it, you will be able to levitate a knight in place who will use a plunger to release a lot of water. This will cause a lot of plants to grow, and you can take them out for some studs. You will also find Red Brick: Collect Ghost Studs.

As you drop off the Red Brick, use dark magic on the red knight next to him. This will make a broomstick, but you should probably get Harry if you don’t have him already. You might want to head over in the corner and get some polyjuice. Just zap the Pixie that is holding the golden cauldron. You will find the green apple and red berries when you get rid of all the plants made by the fountain. As for the hairpiece, look in the corner with the one bodice and toupee. Anyway, once Harry rides the broom stick around, some studs will appear. They will be five at a time, with a blue one in the middle. Have Harry get these studs, and when he gets all, he can get a Gold Brick.

Also, there are five yellow stains around that fountain, and a plunger nearby. Ride the plunger and suck up those yellow stains, and you should be able to get Character: Ravenclaw Prefect.

There is a bogart in the right of this area. Take it out, and you will get a key, and this key will get you into a green locked area on the right.

This is the Clock Room, and there are a few things to be done here, twice.

You will note that right at the entrance, buried in the cobwebs is someone trapped. What are you waiting for? Rescue the Student in Peril and get the Gold Brick. You can do it by zapping the web behind him.

You will see that the stairs are spinning, but you can stop them by blasting the pixie at the top. After he is destroyed, you can use this area as stairs. Do the same to the right side of the room. Walk up to the portrait on the right side of the room and blast it, and a purple gear will pop out. Levitate it so it matches the purple gear on the wall.

Go to the left, and go to the snake door as a parseltongue character. This will cause and egg to come out, and the snake around the clock will also come out and eat it.

The clock is now in working order, and the bell will ring. A Gold Brick will drop from the Bell above you.

Don’t forget to shoot the back of the snake’s tail. You will find yourself Character: Vernon Dursley.

You will also notice that there are four pillars in the center of the room on the lowermost level. There are also chests on the right and left sides of them. If you shoot them, then these clocks will come out. Each clock has a different color, and it has to be levitated in place so it color-code matches the pillar it is on. Red goes to red, blue goes to blue, etc. Do this, and you will have Red Brick: Score x2.

You will note that there is a clock on the right side of this room. This is made for a time turner like Hermione. Go ahead and use it.

You will see immediately underneath a statue is Character: Milkman.

You will also note that there is no simple way to stop the stairwells from spinning, at least not permanently. You will need to have one character rest on a button on the left side which will stop the left one from spinning. You can then have the other character go up the stairwell.

Go to the right side and use Lumos to knock off a weird statue thing. Levitate the statue so it lands on the headless statue, and it will pull a chain that actually will stop the stairwell from spinning.

Go ahead and then bust the metal lock off of the cabinet and open the locked cabinet. This will not only reveal Character: Madame Rosmerita, but some other things that have to be levitated. It will become one of the hands on the clock.

Walk to the left and blast the portrait, this will cause some weird alarm clock of some type to come into this area. It will explode, and you will need to levitate its pieces into place. Levitate the hands of it to calibrate it, and the clock will react in a very unique way. You will also have a Gold Brick.

Go ahead and go back to the Outdoor Fountain Area. You will see a white screen showing that time has “normalized”.

Go toward the room with the pendulum. You will find yourself in the Outdoor Recreation Area. There are several things worth noting in this area.

In the left corner, some pixies are holding a chest. Go ahead and take them out. Zap the chest and manipulate the blocks to make a stairwell to get this character hovering above. I found it worked well to start with the blue on the bottom to the left, then red on top of the that, and then the green. You should be able to create stairs to Character: Hufflepuff Prefect.

Some dark magic is required to get the next character. Use it on the chest, and then levitate the seed and watering can so a big flower grows. One character will levitate and spin it while the other retrieves Character: Slytherin Prefect.

All around this area are ten torches that have square foundations. Just go around and shoot them all, and you will be given Character: Angelina Johnson.

There is a Bogart in the right hand bottom area. Defeat him, and you will have yourself a handle that can be put on a door. This leads to the Owlery. There is nothing to the owlry on the pathway there, but there is lots of stuff on the owlery first floor.

For example, I noticed that when I levitated a curled up piece of wood, I found that I was able to free the Student in Peril. Getting the Gold Brick is nice too. I think freeing him is just a matter of getting close to the owls with their weird scroll thing.

Go ahead and walk up that bridge you made and get Character: Hermione (Gray Hooded Top).

You will notice a chest underneath the stairs. Go ahead and blast it, and then levitate it. It will pour some seeds in the center, and this will free up some owls. You will then need to climb the stairs and then levitate a platform to make an owl elevator. It won’t work until you move this egg around through this maze, and it will fall on floor. Blast it, and the owl-evator will take you to the second floor.

The first thing you need to do is levitate a fan so it goes to a portrait, and a wall will fall in. You can levitate the parts to make a chest, and in that chest will be a Gold Brick.

Go on and blast everything you can in this area, and you will soon have a record. Play it by levitating it toward the record player, and then take it off by shooting the phonograph. You will have three records to play, and Character: Cho Chang.

Take the Owl-evator back down to floor one, and then have Hermione use her time turner. Most of the area has changed.

Note that you will see a box with a metal lock on it. Blow it open, and then levitate it. Some parts will fall out, and they will form a weird contraption designed to clean up bird droppings. Go ahead and clean them all up and get Character: Barty Crouch Senior.

You also might notice that in the corner is some mail that has to be sorted by color. Just levitate it, and the red dot goes with the mailbox with the red dots, blue goes to blue, and so on. You will get a Gold Brick.

If you get up a little higher, you can shoot the poor guy stuck in the owl-feeder. This will be the Student in Peril, and you’ll get the Gold Brick.

Go to those owls that hold that large scroll. You will get so many studs, it is unbelievable.

Shoot the owl in the portrait, and you will have the owl-evator once more.

You will notice here that you can levitate something to go on the projector. It will roll, and create the red brick. Levitate it, and you can give the owl Red Brick: Gold Brick Detector.

You can shoot everything else, and you will notice that when you do, a flower will grow. You will also notice that the wizard sneezes and knocks down the wall. It appears this wall is just meant to be knocked over.

Go on and levitate the gold remains of the phonograph, and you will get Character: Hermione (Hogwarts).

Go on and leave the Owlery, the Outdoor Recreation area, and head back to the Outdoor Fountain Area. You will want to go to the left to the Quittitch practice field (outside), and head to the Quittich practice field (inside).

Go ahead and release Crookshanks or some other digging character and have them go to the five specially marked places. After you dig up five places, you will find Character: Harry (Quidditch).

You will also notice the locked chest in the middle of this area. Go ahead and blast it, and this will cause rings to come out. Like a previous time, you must get Harry and ride through every ring. This will result in the Gold Brick as well as Character: Viktor (Dragon Task).

Head back to the Outer Quidditch practice field, and then to the Greenhouse. You’ll be reminded of your Mandrakes training here. There is a metal bolted door in the back, and you should blast it open.

You will then be in the Outer Garden, and there isn’t much to do but blast stuff. Oh, there is a locked chest that contains Character: Fleur Delacour.

Be sure to take the door to the right to a Plant Nursery. You will note the plant in the corner that wants to take a bite of you. You can levitate a large pot that will knock it out, though.

The goal here is to fill those three pots with mandrakes. Jump down to the next area, and you will find the cabinet you need with the earmuffs is where the cauldron is. Definitely put some on.

You will find that the cauldron needs a tooth, skeletal arm, and a thorn. The tooth is right before you jump down, and you can climb the vine-y ladder up and get it. You will need blast a plant that is in the upper left corner to get the thorn. The skeletal arm is located on the right side, by one of the mandrakes. You might have to temporarily move the mandrake to get to the arm.

Go on and drink the potion, and you can then pull on a chain to open a door. In the process, you will release a Student in Peril. You will also get a Gold Brick.

Zap the big plant in the middle, and use levitation to make some stairs. You can now start taking the mandrakes up one at a time to put in the pots. When you do that, you will be given Red Brick: Singing Mandrakes.

Go ahead and leave the Plant Nursery, through the Outer Garden and get to the Warehouse.

On the second level, up the stairs, you will find a bogart in a corner. Take it out, and you will receive Character: Drummer.

What you really want is the wardrobe with the earmuffs, which is on the second level on the right side. You need to jump on a bench below it, and zap it to get there. From there, grab the mandrake, and find all the glass that you can find. Glass 1/5 is right under that area with the wardrobe. A rectangular Glass 2/5 is underneath the second level on the left side. By the door is Glass 3/5. Up the stairs and to the left is Glass 4/5 and Glass 5/5 is about where the bogart was. You should have Character: Professor Sprout.

Okay, that is about all the rewards that you are going to have here. Get out of there and head back to the Outdoor Fountain Area, and then back to the Outdoor Hall. You will need to pass by Torch 8/9. Go ahead and shoot Panel 2/3 and Panel 3/3. The panels unlock Character: Madam Pince.

Before you run all the way to the right, you will need to pass by the last Torch 9/9. Blast off the metal lock, and then levitate it. You will have Character: Doris Crockford.

Go on and run to the right, through the Courtyard, the Bridge, and then the Field. There are a lot of things to get here.

There is a cauldron here that you can use to make polyjuice. You will find someone sleeping near it that has a hairpiece you can take. The red berries are located down where Hagrid has his garden. As for the apple, it is down at the entrance to the Quittich field, with a pixie holding it up. Grab all three and become the characters you need.

For example, near the cauldron is something that needs dark magic. This will create a rocket whose fuse needs to be lit, which will put a character in the sky. You should get the pumpkin helmet and pick up Character: Viktor Krum.

There is another rocket with a metal chain that needs to be freed. This will also have to be retrieved. Go on and pick up Charater: Cedric (Lake Task).

One last rocket needs to be freed from a pixie. Its character can be retrieved from the sky, and you will have Character: Ginny (Sweater)

Go ahead and head to Hagrid’s Field. You should be able to walk in there and you will see a scene that looks something from the second year with Ron barfing up slugs.

You will notice that there is some reeds that you can levitate. Reed 1/3 is in the upper right corner. Reed 2/3 is in the lower right corner. This will unlock Character: Ron (Brown Jacket), which will appear in the center of the field.

On the right side is a locked chest. Bust it open, and a bogart will come out. Bust it, and get Character: Amos Diggory.

You will also notice lots of spots to dig. There is a bucket to levitate that will fill up with water. A seedling near here need to be levitated so it is planted. There is a half-globe that will turn over to become a pot. Levitate the bucket of water so it goes into the pot.

Shoot the rolled up red and white thing so it rolls out like a picnic table, and levitate the picnic basket. You will note that someone is inside it, and throws out a big seed. Levitate the seed, and it will become a pumpkin balloon that will take a Student in Peril away, and give you a Gold Brick.

The food from the picnic basket can then be levitated into the pot, like a stew, maybe. You can get some studs this way.

There are also parts from the picnic basket that have to be levitated to form something or other. A glass thing with a touch of purple. Go ahead and levitate the watering can. And a helicopter plant or something will grow.

That part will have to be levitated on the black flat plate. Then that glass with purple thing I was talking about has to be put there, followed by another part. This area, which was glitchy, kicked me out after that. I had to travel back here to get a Gold Brick.

Hermione can now user her Time Turner here. It then turns into a scene from year one where Hagrid is hiding a dragon.

Go ahead and clear away all the plants, as they just get in the way. You can leviate some water in a barrel, and then use it make more flowers. The result will be a lot more coins.

Go ahead and blast that metal gray lock, and this will cause an axe to chop of up wood, which will result in the unlocking of Character: Gilderoy Lockhart (Green Jacket).

By the barrel is a place where Fang can dig up Character: Petunia Dursley.

Fang can also dig up a scarecrow head, which can be then levitated onto the scarecrow. This will loosen some dirt so Fang can dig in another area. This will create a hole with four pumpkins, and they can be destroyed, and then the debris levitated into forming a chain. Hagrid can pull on the chain, and the scarecrow will spin like a top, destroying much around it.

The debris can be levitated, and build a fireplace storage place for the egg. The Egg can be levitated there, and you will have a Gold Brick.

The exit to this place is at the front. Don’t leave until you have blasted a pumpkin on the right that contains the Student in Peril, and get a Gold Brick while you are at it.

Go ahead and go to the Quidditch Field. You should hopefully have everything here the first time. You should get to the area on the left where you can dig something up, and then use levitation to make a clock. Using a Time Turner, you can take it to a new level.

The first thing you will see is something to dig up. Go on and deal with that, and you can levitate some book to land on the music stand. You will then need to levitate a baton, and you can conduct a small orchestra there. You will receive a Gold Brick for your troubles.

There are some flags and flowers that you can get some studs from, but that is about it.

If you go over to the area that looks like a concession stand. Go ahead and levitate a cloud and some sunshine, and this will cause some corn to grow on both sides. Go on and levitate the corn so it goes into the shed. It will become a big popcorn popper, and you will have Character: George (Quittitch).

You will notice a big block of ice in the corner. Go on and use levitation on a nearby hammer and chisel, and some pieces of it will fall off. You will then have Red Brick: Stud Magnet.

By the tent, you will notice a closed chest. Levitate it, and some parts will come falling out, not to mention a Student in Peril and Gold Brick.

You will notice that the stuff that gets dumped out can be used to make some rocket launchers. These will make footholds that can be used to climb up to the top of the tent. You can get a lot of studs here.

Time to head back inside, to the First Grand Hall. Go on and head upstairs and to the right into the Stairway Hall.

On your way up, go ahead and shoot the portrait just before the stairs, and this will cause him to hurl a ball. (You might have done this unintentionally before, I know I did.) Go up the stairs, and then change the direction so you go up one more. You will get to the door of the room that has Fluffy in it, but you can’t open it this time.

You will have another stairwell to go up, and you can blast the kid in the portrait until he hurls is ball again. You will note a gold brick, but you won’t be able to get it yet. Instead, zap the wizard in the portrait and go up some more.

You will then be at a blue door. You might notice there are two vases here. Go on and shoot them, and some flowers will appear. Shoot the vases, and Character: Percy (Sweater) will appear.

Go on and blast the button by the left of the door, and it will open. You will then be in the Muggle Room. I call it that because it looks like it has many inventions that would fascinate Wizards.

You will notice the three hamster wheels by the car. They are actually designed for bunnies. The first bunny is obtained by blasting the portrait to the left of the bouncing mailbox, and then levitating the letter to the slot. The bunny will automatically run to the wheel.

The next bunny is found atop the shelf. You have to blast a contraption on top of it, but you won’t be able to get to it without levitation. You need to levitate the large bench so it is up against the shelf, then the smaller bench so it is atop the larger bench, and the stool atop the smaller bench. Go ahead and climb up and blast the contraption to unleash the rabbit.

For the last rabbit, just go to the TV that is all the way to the right. Shoot all three of the red buttons on it until they turn green. You will see a bunny in the TV, so shoot it.

With the last bunny in place, you will have a Gold Brick.

If you go to the computer, you can shoot the screen. You will see a character icon, and if you shoot it a few more times, you will have Character: Dudley Dursley.

To the right of the computer is an old-school dot-matrix printer. Shoot it twice and you can get Red Brick: Score x6.

You will notice at the end of the Bobblehead table there is a device that looks like a vacuum cleaner of some sorts. Go ahead and shoot it. It will fly out the window, and you can jump up to get Character: Mrs. Mason.

Speaking of the Bobbleheads, why don’t you shoot them. Hit one of them to make another pop out, and then another. It will at last reward you with Character: Mr. Mason.

Go on and leave the room and climb the stairs. Go ahead and go past the office where Dumbledore is. You should go to the top and get a Gold Brick, the one where you had to hit portraits to literally getting the ball rolling.

You also will find a student trapped in the web, and you need to hit the web behind him to free the Student in Peril and get the Gold Brick.

Go back to the front of Dumbledore’s office. You will have to levitate a candle so it lights the other. You will then have Character: Professor Binns.

Go on and levitate the stairs and head to Dumbledore’s Office.

There is a locked chest in the middle of the room. Go ahead and blast it to open it, and lay claim to the Gold Brick.

You might want to get the ingredients to make some potion here. You will need a thorn, tooth, and skeletal arm. The thorn is on the right of the room, held up by a pixie. Zap the pixie and get the thorn. You will notice there is an area with jellybeans. You need to levitate the red to go with the red ones, green to the green, and blue with blue. It will explode, and you can get the tooth. As for the knight, go ahead and blast it. Eventually, you will find a skeletal arm. Go ahead and use it to make a strength potion.

Go to the top here, and you will be able to pull. This will reveal one of those planetary models. Destroy all of the planets here, and then you will be left with the sorting hat. Go ahead and levitate into place and you will have Character: Albus Dumbledore.

Where you found the tooth and the thorn is a lamp. Zap the lamp, and you will have access to Character: Nearly Headless Nick.

As you may have noticed when you go up the stairs, the phoenix bursts into flames. It will release a red brick then. Go ahead and grab Red Brick: Invincibility.

You should probably get to an area that has polyjuice, for you will need it to become a dark magic character. In the back of the room is a black chest that needs some dark magic. Go ahead, and you will have Character: Professor Dumbledore.

Head back down to the bottom of the stairways, and go to the Dormitory hall. There you will find the entrances to all four hallways. You should probably go all the way to the right and start with Ravenclaw. Just hit that bogart at the end. You will find that the chest dumps out some stuff, and you will need to levitate these blocks so they go into these purple spaces.

You will note the polyjuice potion here, and this will come in handy. You should probably become Dobby, as he can get into any House.

Go up the stairs and enter into RavenClaw Hallway. If you blast the door immediately to the left, you can levitate a telescope. In front of it will be Character: Penelope Clearwater. Go on and claim her.

There isn’t much else in here but some studs, so go collect them and have Dobby open the door.

You will then enter the Ravenclaw Common Room. You will notice a chest in the center of the room. Go on and blast it, and then you will be able to see a red ball that flies around the room and eventually creates Character: Gabrielle Delacour.

You will find a black table in the center of this room. Use levitation on it. On the left will be a black table and chair that need to be levitated as well. You can then levitate another chair on the other side. You may notice that you are making a large black bird. When it is finished, it will start looking all dusty. Zap it, and it will take off. It will leave Red Brick: Hogwarts Crest Detector behind, and you will need to drop it off with the owl.

You may notice that underneath is upper area is a bookshelf. You will need to levitate and then zap Book 1/5, Book 2/5, and Book 3/5. These books are yellow, and two of them are in the other room.

Go ahead and enter the Ravenclaw Bedroom.

The first bed that you come to in this room needs to have its top blasted off, and you will see Character: Padma (Ballgown).

The last bed on the right needs to be blasted, and it has Book 4/5 underneath it. Go ahead and blast it. The second bed from the left also needs to be blasted, and it will have Book 5/5 underneath it. Blast it, and then claim the Gold Brick.

In this room, you will notice a red book eating up pages. There is a cart nearby, and if you shoot the cart, the book will be bound: with chains. You will have a Student in Peril and a Gold Brick.

Those are probably all the surprises there. Go ahead and head to Dormitory Hall. Stop in front of Hufflepuff, and zap the Pixie that is carrying a handle. Levitate the handle and put it in its place on the door. Levitate to turn the handle and enter in.

You will then be in the Hufflepuff Hall. Go ahead and get to the wardrobe andyou’re your earmuffs on. You can then go to the mandrake and walk around to crack three glass cases. You will be awarded with Character: Neville Longbottom.

Putting away the mandrake in its pot frees up a Student in Peril, and gets you a Gold Brick.

Nothing more in this room but studs. Go ahead and shift back into Dobby and go to the painting in the back. A fruity smile will let your characters into the Hufflepuff Common Room.

You will see a locked chest here to your immediate right. Go on and blow it off, and then levitate the cake so it is in the face of this guy who will eat it up. You will be rewarded with the Gold Brick.

There is a portrait on the left of this area. Shoot it, and a cake will fall out. Shoot it again, and the candles will be lit, shoot it one more time, and it will explode. You will have Character: The Fat Friar.

Go ahead and go to the area with the couches. You will see a big Venus FlyTrap in the Fireplace. Go ahead and shoot something on the fireplace mantle. The flue will open, and the plant will be knocked down. You will also free up the Student in Peril and get a Gold Brick.

You can then go to the left and use the wardrobe to put on some earmuffs. You will notice there is a bucket, but where is the mandrake. Go to the right of the room by the entrance/exit, and use levitation on a long green candelabra. This will open up a secret passage to the mandrake. There doesn’t seem to be any glass to break, so just put it in its bucket. The purpose of this is to bring weight which will open the door to the Hufflepuff Bedroom.

You will find that there is a chest in the corner with a chain. Blast it, and some parts will come out. Use levitation to assemble them, and it will become a radio. You will then have Character: Hufflepuff Girl.

In the center of this room is a big black pot. You need to shoot it, and then spend a long time shooting every single flower on it. You will then have Red Brick: Christmas.

Go ahead and head to Dormitory Hall. This time, you don’t need Dobby to get to Griffyndor. Go ahead and skip past the Gryffindor Common Room and head to the Gryffindor Bedroom.

There are some things to get here that you couldn’t get before. For example, if you go to the left side of the room, you can levitate a vase that will reveal a chest to blast open. Go ahead and grab Red Brick: Fall Rescue.

You will also notice a clock that you can assemble, and Hermione can use her Time Turner on it.

The first thing to do is go to the left side of this room and zap a chest. It will contain Character: Dean Thomas.

There is a metal padlocked chest on the right side that will contain Character: Seamus Finnegan.

You can zap the sleeping kids alarm clock for a surprise, but you should zap the chest to the right of him. You can get the Gold Brick here.

As for the rest of Griffyndor, there isn’t much. Go ahead and go back to Dormitory Hall and head to Slytherin. Dobby or a Slytherin character will get you in there.

You will then be in the Slytherin Hallway. You will note several metal padlocks on the manhole covers. You should blast them off, and you will be able to levitate a chain on one of the walls. You might need to go to the polyjuice cauldron in Dormitory Hall to find this next thing. A strong character has to pull on the chains, and you will have access to Character: Rita Skeeter.

Once again, Dobby will get you through into the Slytherin Common Room.

Go on and use some levitation on a green lamp as you come in. This will be Lamp 1/5.

There is a portrait that you can zap here, and it will zap out a case in front of the fireplace. Zap the case, and collect Character: Slytherin Boy.

By the window there is a circular table. Levitate it for Lamp 2/5.

If you shoot a chimney sweeper by the fire, you can get some parts to levitate into a dragons head. Hit it several times to get lots of studs.

Go to the right in the other room. Along the wall to the left and on a mantle is Lamp 3/5. Lamp 4/5 and Lamp 5/5 are right by the windows. This will open up Character: Slytherin Girl.

There is a phonograph that you can build, but that is about it. You should concentrate on getting to the Slytherin Bedroom.

On the right side of the room, you will find Red Brick: Score x4, and you should get it and give it to the owl.

You will notice a bookshelf, and someone is behind it. Zap the shelf, and it will slowly tip over, freeing a Student in Peril and giving you the Gold Brick.

In front of one of the beds is a gray chest. Shoot it, and all of this stuff will fall into the hottub. Then Gold Brick will appear, and you can claim it.

Okay, that is over with, so head to the First Grand Hall.

Go on and go through the center door on the bottom floor, and you will be where I like to call the Third Grand Hall. Take the spiral staircase on the right leading up to the Facilities Hall.

You will then need to blast off the lock on the door to the Bathroom.

If you go to the left, you can jump on a thing that will pump water. Use levitation, and you will have a waterslide, or side made of water. Go to the pool and use levitation on the duck, and all the water will drain out. You can then start up the water with levitation on a handle. This will get some water in a bucket on the octopus on the far wall. Zap the buck, and levitate it into the pool. Levitate the bucket again, and you have a pool with toys. I don’t know what the use is of this.

Go over to the showers, and you will find that some of them don’t have heads on them. You will need to levitate the shower heads so they fit in, and then zap all of their handles so they are running at once. This will cause a lot of steam to rise, and open up the clam or oyster there. Go ahead and grab Red Brick: Score x8.

You can zap the lockers to get some balls for the pool, but you will want to hit the garbage can. You can levitate some spray paint and then use it to make an image on the brick wall of Character: Madam Hooch.

You will definitely want to blast the stalls. Here you can get the Student in Peril as well as the Gold Brick.

I tried hitting the sinks, and it didn’t do much.

Go on and head back to the Third Main Hall. Go all the way to the left, and use dark magic on a black cabinet. There is some polyjuice here if you need it. You will then get Character: Witch (White).

If you have already received what you need to get in that one area, don’t go there. The statue moves, but won’t allow you in.

Go to the Center door in this area, and you will find the Dining Area.

On the left side of this room you will find a kid in a web. Free him, and get the Student in Peril 50 and a Gold Brick.

All around this room are six pairs of green cups that have to be zapped, an order that they may clink together. Three of the students’ tables have one pair, with one having two pair. There is a pair on the professors’ table as well. This will reveal a gold brick, but it is high in the air. You need to zap three piles of plates on three different tables. Then use them as mid-air stepping stones to get the Gold Brick.

In the left hand corner is a steal boulder. Destroy it, and get Character: Molly Weasley.

In the right hand corner is a steal bouder. Destroy it, and get Character: Colin Creevey.

Somehow, shooting around here causes a Red Brick to appear. Blast a turkey to become a live turkey. This will be Red Brick: Character Studs.

Go ahead and return to the Leaky Cauldron, and there are some more rewards to get.

Go out onto the street and go to the Eyelops Owl Emporium. You will see a bunch of owls standing there, and you can blast a cage near them. Levitate the remains, and you will have a sweeping machine that you can stand on to get the Gold Brick.

By this time, you should be able to buy up all of the owl parcels on the second floor. If not, then by a few score multipliers, and you’ll easily be able to afford it.

You should go down to Diagon Alley by zapping the gate open to it.

You can then go down the alley, and make some stairs to a bridge above so you can get Character: Igor Karkaroff.

You then need to stand on the cart where you made the stairs from, and shoot it. The cart will buck you up in the air, and you will have Character: The Bloody Baron.

You can then come to a place where you can jump on this stand, and it will propel you up. You will then get Character: Shifty Wizard.

Go ahead and head to Madam Malkin’s. There is a rack that you can blast, and then you can levitate it back together. This will unlock Character: Hermione (Ballgown).

You should then go up to the dressing room on the right, and you will discover a Wizard in undies. You will also discover Character: Harry (Tuxedo).

You can then go to Borgin and Burkes, and you will soon discover something shiny behind a table. Go on and get it, as it is the Gold Brick.

Nothing to do but go back to the Owlrey and buy all 12 Gold Bricks.

You should probably go blow the metal lock off the basement at the Leaky Cauldron. You then can use levitation to make models of each of the levels and get 4 more Gold Bricks.

You’re still short a character, and 10 Gold Bricks. Head to Part 31 to get to them in the Bonus Levels.
