For those of you who are not aware, Squinkies are the latest big thing when it comes to children’s collectables. The small soft characters come in a wide range of characters, some are aimed at boys and some at girls. These have been around for a few years now and have been ever growing in popularity. In recent times we have seen Squinkies characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, WWE stars, Marvel Super Heroes and even a range of Cars. The latest release aimed at girls are the Minnie Mouse characters. There are three new bubble packs that have come out and the latest addition to the range is the Minnie Mouse Dispenser, so let’s see what we can tell you about it.

The idea of dispensers is that you can use them to dish out your Squinkies. The toys come in little gum balls so you can load your machines with the gum balls and then pick them out. We have seen a few brilliant dispensers recently, the most popular one at the moment seems to be the Crazy Crane. This one however ties in with the popular Minnie Mouse sets of toys.

When it comes to release date for this one we are expecting it early in 2012. At the time of writing this article in mid February there have been no sightings of this in the shops yet, but it is expected to be out there very shortly. If we get word on any official release date we will let you know. When it comes to price we are expecting this one to retail at around $30 although this price is of course subject to change.

As you can see from the picture this is a really nice looking dispenser. Minnie is dressed in a pink outfit and she is carrying a yellow bag with a bow on it. To get your gum balls in there you simply lift up the bow on her head. The dispenser comes with little coins which you can use to pay for a turn on the machine. You insert your coin and then twist the dial and out pops a new Squinkie character. Along with this set you also get four new characters which are exclusive to this pack. This is one that little girls will really enjoy and it’s ideal if you are buying the other Minnie Mouse sets.

Along with the Minnie Mouse Dispenser we also have seen three new Bubble Packs released. The first two are widely available whereas the third ones seems a little more elusive at the moment. No doubt it will soon get out into some of the larger stores and then we will also see it available to buy online. The new Bubble Packs feature six different characters and also some little toys as well. The first series has a beach theme, the second a park and the third series we are unsure of the theme but you get a car, boat and bike as the little toys. So maybe it is a travel theme?

These three new Minnie Mouse Bubble Packs look really nice and obviously if bought with the dispenser they will make a brilliant set. There are lots of other Squinkies aimed at girls, probably the most popular ones have been the Hello Kitty packs but we have also seen ones such as Disney Princess, Easter Surprise, Barbie, Tiny Toys and many more. There are literally hundreds of characters to choose from so kids really can have great fun collecting these, plus they are very affordable. Most Bubble Packs contain around 12 characters and usually retail around the $10 mark, so a good price.
