A Question of Perception

Optical Illusions are images that are different then our objective perceptions. The eye gathers information for the brain to process and in so we perceive what the stimuli is telling us we are seeing. At times though what is measured in the physical world differs from what the eye is telling us what we are seeing.

The Main Types of Optical Illusions:

  • Brightness
  • Tilt
  • Color
  • Movement
  • Cognitive

These illusions are caused by over stimulation of what it is the eye is stimulated by and what the brain is processing.
