Playstation Move Games

This holiday season, Playstation Move games are going to be the hot commodity. Although the add on is not out yet, it will be soon. That means that you can preorder your games now, to make sure that you're not scrambling to get them once it drops.

There will be two versions of this Hub, the prerelease (which you're reading right now), and I'll revise it once the Move comes out.

Below you'll see some links for Amazon that will allow you to reserve your copy of these games, and have them delivered either the day they're released or the day before. It's really that easy!

Playstation Move will be released in Europe on September 15, in Australia on September 16, in North America on September 19, and in Japan on October 21.

Highly Anticipated Playstation Move Games

The thing, in my opinion, that is going to set Move apart from Xbox Kinect is the fact that there are going to be "real" games that are released for it with the system, and shortly thereafter. Some current games will also have downloadable updates that make them compatible with Playstation Move.

Little Big Planet 2 is going to be one of the biggest games this holiday, and through 2011. It's still not totally clear on how it will be controlled with Move, but it's slated to be compatible. The first installment in this series was 2008's game of the year, and the expectations are just as high for number 2. What makes this series so great is that anyone can pick it up, play it, and have a blast. I consider myself a "hardcore gamer" but spent a lot of time playing a game that looks like it's for kids! The ability to create your own levels, and play thousands of them from other people really makes this a game that wont end.

Heavy Rain was one of the most popular games of 2010, and is going to get a digital update that makes it compatible with Move. Rather than doing its complex button presses, you'll do gestures with the Move wand. If you already have this game, there isn't anything that you have to do. If you don't I would recommend picking it up now before it comes with the Move upgrade. Once it has the upgrade, it will go back to being a hard to find game.

Killzone 3 is also going to be Move compatible. This game is insanely anticipated, and the two previous are some of the best Playstation exclusive games that have come out. There aren't yet a lot of details on how Move is going to work with this game, but it's almost a guaranteed hit!

Getting Your Playstation Move

Not only are the games going to be the hottest thing around this holiday season, the add-on bundle is going to be very hard to come by. This makes preordering your bundle a great idea.

The Playstation Move comes out in September, and will be hot all the way from then through January or February. There aren't any numbers yet on how many Sony is going to produce, but I know that I'm not going to take my chances on not getting one! I've already preordered mine!

There are a couple of different bundles coming out. The most basic is the single Move controller set with Eye camera and the sports game. If you already have a PS3, but don't have Eye, this is the best bundle.

If you already have Eye, then the you will be best off just buying the controllers. There will probably be a bundle without the Eye at some point, but not yet.

Should you not have a PS3 at all, there is a bundle that has a 120gb console and the Move bundle discussed above.

I guess the only thing that I'm trying to say is get your Move early, or be prepared to deal without being able to get one for a few months.

All in all, the Playstation Move is going to be a hugely successful peripheral.  The games that are coming out are going to make all types of gamers happy, even the people that never knew that they liked playing in the first place.

Preorder your games today to make sure that you're going to get them without having to scramble around.  It's easy, and they'll be shipped right to your door!
