Runescape Mage/Magic Guide 1-99 P2P 2012 - 1-99 Mage guide (cheapest way to get 99 mage and fastest 99 mage guide)

Updated on August 18, 2013

The magic skill is one of the easier ones to get to 99 although it may cost some money at some times. If you know the way to 99 magic, then it is no problem. If not, then you should keep reading.
In this 1-99 magic guide, I will tell you about the fastest and cheapest ways and methods to get 99 magic. And at some points, you could even make profit than loss while getting 99 magic!
At the end of this 99 magic guide, I will also tell you some alternative ways to get the magic skill cape and more advise.

The first part will be the cheap guide. The fast and also more expensive part is the same like the cheap 99 magic guide, but continues differently at level 70.

99 Mage/Magic skill cape

mbyL's fastest and cheapest 1-99 Mage/Magic Guide 2012 Runescape

The following spells should be cast on the Zammorakian monk in the Varrock castle, who is in the cell and so unable to attack, up to level 25 (or 55)

1-3: Wind strike

3-11: Confuse

11-19: Weaken

19-25/55: Curse

25-31: Varrock teleport (about 200 casts)

31-37: Lumbridge teleport (about 305 casts)

37-45: Falador teleport (about 614 casts)

45-55: Camelot teleport (about 1895 casts)

55-99: High alching (table what to alch) (about 197697 casts)

And know to the fast guide. Just use alching up to level 70 and then proceed with the fast 99 magic guide.

70-94: Ice burst on skeletons in the Ape Atoll (requires Ancient Spellbook)

94-99: Ice barrage on skeletons in the Ape Atoll (requires Ancient Spellbook).

OR 86-99: planking with the lunar spellbook. You can make about 160k-180k xp per hour and it will take 104852 spells.

Other methods to train 1-99 mage and useful items

Use an elementary or mystic staff to save runes and reduce your costs while training for 99 magic.
You can use the weakest and first spell in the normal spellbook and take an air staff with you. You won’t lose money, but you will lose 10 years of your life as it takes forever to get 99 magic with this method.

By publishing articles, poetry, short stories etc. you can earn money too: Sign Up

If you are alching, then place the item (noted) approximately on the spot where your spell is placed. You will never have to move your mouse and only keep clicking.
In the lower levels, up to 55 at maximum, you can also train at fist of guthix. And here is how to do it:

You will have to have the lowest magic attack bonus as possible. Just take your best fighting armour and as long as your magic attack bonus is -55 or more it will be enough and you will never hit your enemy in fist of guthix. You then have to find your opponent and tell him that you want to train free magic in fist of guthix. If it’s no noob, he will just stay and you can always cast your best possible spell with the free runes provided in this mini-game.

I hope this 99 Mage guide could help you and give you some fast levels and money.
