Saz is a Middle Eastern Stringed Instrument and a Great Scrabble Word
Have you ever been beaten in Scrabble by an opponent with a powerful end game? I knew the game would be tough going in since my highest score in Facebook Scrabble was 412 and I was going up against a 551. But I held my end pretty well, in fact I led for most of the game, and was almost certain to win...until the fellow played 'S-A-Z' right on a triple word..
According to the online dictionary in the game it is a Middle Eastern stringed instrument.
The sense of achievement from almost beating someone who is clearly a better player helped to absorb the defeat.
That instrument sure struck up a daunting chord at the end, at which point I had but one tile left, a pretty harmless 'U'.
Just another exciting game of Facebook Scrabble Worldwide by Gamehouse.
Later that night I played 'S-A-V' which was inspired by the earlier 'S-A-Z'. Do you know the meaning?
Sav is short for 'saveloy' which is a spicy smoked sausage. Never stop learning when you play Facebook Scrabble Worldwide.
