Sims 3 World Adventures Shang Simla The First Emperor Mini Tomb
This is a stereotypical find and collect items quest. For each stage of this quest, the objects that you need to collect will light up on the Map View (shortcut: M) and all you need to do is direct your Sims to the indicated area to collect the object. The last one is a bit tricky because Red Assassin Bugs are very rare so even with the aid of Map View, it may take awhile to find them.
The person you will report back to at the end of each segment of the quest is Liu Pei the Relic Merchant. You can find him in the Shang Simla Market located in the Forbidden City. However, if you have adventure tracker turned on, once you’ve collected the required items, a button for delivering objects will become available and you can simply click on it to direct your Sims to Liu Pei.
Constructing the First Emperor Mini
“It is my utmost desire to construct a miniature, perfectly to scale tomb of the late First Emperor. Materials are required! Deliver 2 pieces of Lapis Lazuli to Liu Pei. I shall pay some Simoleons and some Ancient Coins. Make haste!”
Objective: Deliver 2 pieces of Lapis Lazuli to Liu Pei to earn Simoleons and Ancient Coins
Reward: 15 Visa points, 55 Simoleons (depends on the value of the items you deliver to him) and 10 Ancient coins
Lapis Lazuli are very common around Shang Simla so your Sims should have no problem in quickly finding 2 pieces of it. Unfortunately, Lapis Lazuli isn't very expensive so your compensation in simoleons won't be a lot.
A Mini Mercurial Desire
“Excellent! I believe the emperor would just squeal at the sight of this collection. Now I require 2 pieces of raw Mercury for use in the First Emperor’s royal thermometer. I shall pay some Simoleons and some Ancient Coins for the work.”
Objective: Deliver 2 pieces of raw Mercury to Liu Pei to earn Simoleons and Ancient Coins
Reward: 15 Visa points, 792 Simoleons (depends on the value of the items you deliver to him), 10 Ancient Coins
Mercury, thankfully, is quite expensive so you will be able to get quite a large compensation for collecting the two pieces. Once again, go into Map View (M), find 2 pieces, collect them and deliver it back to Liu Pei.
The First Emperor's Honor Guard
“I thank you again! Oh drat! I’m sorry. It seems I neglected to provide adequate protection within the First Emperor’s miniature tomb. As the tomb is small, the neighbours simply will not fit. Perhaps you could bring 2 Red Assassin Bugs instead? You will be paid some Simoleons and some Ancient Coins!”
Objective: Deliver 2 Red Assassin Bugs to Liu Pei to earn Simoleons and Ancient Coins
Reward: 15 Visa points, 5,472 Simoleons (depends on the value of the beetles you deliver to Liu Pei), 10 Ancient Coins
Red Assassin Bugs, as you can see from the rewards my Sims received, is very very expensive so it's well worth your time to do this quest. However, they are extremely rare. Sometimes, on the Map View (M), there is only 1 Red Assassin Bug in Shang Simla. So this quest needs patience and if you can't find one, go and rest your Sims up at base camp and check again the next day. Sooner or later, you'll find two.
“They look quite fierce, do they not? I believe the First Emperor would be disappointed otherwise. Once again you’ve helped immeasurably! This is quite excellent. I will let you know if I require your help again.”
