Tall Trunk Galaxy

Green Star 1

Now, you remember that tree at the beginning here?  You will need to get a Yoshi and get to the very top branch of it. You will have to get underneath the star itself, and jump as high has you can.  Then you will have to dismount Yoshi with a Z and A maneuver, and the star is yours.

Green Star 2

You will need to go to an area in the rotating tree.  You will see the green star floating, but getting to it is difficult.   What I had to do is get above the star by “falling around the log”.  You will have to go right and then back up left to fall to it.  Yeah, you’ll get to know this log really well.  You’ll find that you can do a flutter jump as you fall near it, and you can go to it and possibly do a dismount jump to snag that star.

Green Star 3

This is at the slide area that I don’t like.  You will have to go through it, and there is a lot stuff to go through.  At about the last area there is some wigglers and spiky plants.  You will see the green star there, and you will have to jump and spin to snag it.

Cloudy Court Galaxy

Green Star 1

This first star is hovering above the neck of the dinosaur-shaped bush.  You should grab the cloud mushroom, and backwards somersault onto the back of the beast.  You should then do backwards somersaults up and up until you get the star.

Green Star 2

This one you will find on the drum, when you get to the cymbal area.  What you need to do is get the cloud mushroom on the one drum, but don’t use it until you reach the cymbal.  You can actually get from one drum to the other quite easily without the cloud.  You will see the green star in the distance from the cymbal, so long jump to get to it, and then use the cloud mushroom.  Two long jumps should put it in distance so you can get it.

Green Star 3

As far as this next green star goes, you have to go all the way to the end, where that big thing is opening and closing, and get all the way to the top.  You will see the star that you once snagged when you were getting the “regular stars”, and to the right of it will be the green star, behind the windmill.  You will need the cloud mushroom to jump to the area right under it, and a few backward somersaults to get the star itself.

Haunty Halls Galaxy

Green Star 1

You will need to travel across the moving carpet with Boo ghosts until you see the warp pad.  You can see under the warp pad is the green star.  Getting to it means falling off of the edge, and doing a spin jump toward it.  You might lose a few lives in the process.

Green Star 2

This green star is located on the moving green walkways in the second area of this galaxy.  You will need to get under it and perform a backwards somersault with a spin-jump.  It is easy to fall here, and you might want to go all the way through here. Then you can run back and get it that way.

Green Star 3

This is right near the area where you got one of the Stars the first time you went through this galaxy.  You will see it, but to get it, you will have to do backwards somersault and do the spin-jump and get it.

Freezy Flake Galaxy

Green Star 1

This star can be obtained by taking the Star Launcher, and then going to the area with the large Bowser statue.  Destroy it with a snowball or fire flower, and take the slide.  Now, the star will be on the ceiling, but you can turn yourself upside down on the slide and get the star.

Green Star 2

Eventually, you can make your way to the final area.  Don’t be going to destroy the statue.  You want to get to an area where there is a fire flower.  On the edge of this lava area is a green star that is difficult to get, because you can’t really see where you are jumping to.  You can adjust the camera angle, but you should be able to look with eyes-on view, and then long jump to fall toward it.

Green Star 3

You will need to go to the area where the snow is thick, just before you beat that big snowman head creature the first time.  You need to find the area with the dock and a bunny rabbit and just jump off.  I told you about this area before, and you can get 3 1UPs and the green star will be waiting for you.

Rolling Masterpiece Galaxy

Green Star 1

You will find this green star after the area where the shiny road sort of makes itself.  Get to the elevator, and you can see the star on the way up.  Of course, it is off the edge.  You have to touch the star with Mario and not the ball to make this work.

Green Star 2

This last star is located in the area with the big rolling ball that you have to knock off before it will let you in.  I found it was easier just to knock off the guy so you can concentrate on getting the star.  You will need to just roll of the corner, and Mario should be able to hit it. It’s pretty easy.

Beat Block Galaxy

Green Star 1

You will see this first green star when you get to the corner with the three flipping areas, for lack of a better word.  Do a look-see and you will see it hovering in the corner.  Mario will need do a backwards somersault and a spin-jump to get it.

Green Star 2

You will find the second green star at the end of the area.  It is hovering high over the area where one of the silver stars is.  What you need to do is jump to the yellow step up and to the left of it, and then do a backwards somersault, followed by a spin-jump.   It is difficult, but you can make it.

Bowser Jr.’s Fearsome Fleet

Green Star 1

Okay, remember that one area where you are riding Yoshi on a yellow and white platform, while people are shooting at you?  Well, you want to be there, and you want to shoot back at those shooting at you by spitting the bullets back at them.  One of the last one that you spit the bullet at will have the green star behind it.  It will be easy to miss it, but keep trying.

Green Star 2

This last star has to be obtained by going on another yellow and white panel, this time on the ships.  The second ship down will have a bow that you can walk on, very carefully.  Bullets will be coming at  you, but you can eat them and spit them out.  When you get to the star, you can jump and hover towards it.  I missed it a few times.
