Melty Monster Galaxy

Green Star 1

This star is by the pull stars, way up and in the corner.  It is tricky to get.  What you need to do is use that pull-star that is on the upper left from as low as you possibly can.  Release the A button before you get too close, and you will fly to it.  Make sure to do a spin jump when you pass it goind down.

Green Star 2

This next green star is in the area with the tornados.  You will need to go to the one that is on the second level, all the way to the left.  Wait until it goes all the way to the left on its path, and shake to go in the air.  You will see the star, and you can guide yourself to it.

Green Star 3

Okay, here is what you need to do.  You have to go all the way through this rolling level, and get to the part where you have to bounce several times to get to the star that you once got here.  However, the green star is sort of off to the side after the second yellow rubber rebounder.  The trick is to miss it and roll off the edge, but in a way where you can get the green star.

Clockwork Ruins Galaxy

Green Star 1

This first green star is located at the top of the third wheel along the way.  You can get yourself to the top of this, and then do a backwards somersault into the wall.  Wall-jump off of the wall, and a spin jump should get you that star.

Green Star 2

This star is located in the area where you must get to the top in order to hit a switch to change the gravity.  When the stuff falls out, you must get around the edges of this area.  I found the easiest way to do that was to backwards somersault to the top of the ? box, and then backwards somersault to the top of the corner.  You should be able to follow the corner to the right and get the star.  There are several other ways you can do this too.

Green Star 3

This last star is located at the end of the level, when the second set of falling wheels occurs.  What you must do is get on one of them in the crack, and ride it to the top.  Stay on it by staying in motion, and then jump when you see the star.  You should do a spin jump and try and go toward it as much as you can.

Throwback Galaxy

Green Star 1

You know that one area that you go through where there are three floors that slide away in a row?  Well, if you go to the third one, you can drop down and get the star.  You might want to slide down on the left side, and wall jump at the right time.  A spin at the right time might help you snag it too.

Green Star 2

In this area, you must get all the way to the top, as well as you can, and go to the Whomp King.  You need to get him to flatten himself, and then go to the top of him.  Then just let him walk around for a while, and he will eventually get under the star.  One jump with a spin should get it when you are directly underneath it.

Green Star 3

You will be on the level where you had to get the five silver stars.  There is an area with a rotating ramp and it will have one of the silver stars near it on a cloud.  Get a cloud mushroom and then long jump to that small cloud in the center.   Go ahead and adjust the camera angle, and you will see the green star in the distance.  It takes three long jumps to get it, and it is slightly awkward as the camera does not adjust for this.  Go ahead and get it.

Flash Back Galaxy

Green Star 1

The green star is located in the right hand corner of the house, close to the Star Launcher.  I found that the best way to get it was to ditch Yoshi, and then hit the spiky ball floating under it with a Star Bit.  You can then backwards somersault to the wall to the right of it, and the wall jump off with a spin to snag this star.

Green Star 2

The last green star is found all the way at the end of the area after the Star Launcher.  You would think it is easy to find, as it glows green in the midst of all of this darkness.  However, finding it is a little difficult as it is under a platform.  Go to the end of the maze area and you will find it underneath a platform.

Slimy Spring Galaxy

Green Star 1

The first green star is found in the very wide open area with all of the tube worms with eyes.  If you look close enough, you can see a rock column that has some shiny stuff in back of it.  Go ahead and ditch your shell when you get close to it.  The only difficulty I had here was swimming and not running out of oxygen before I snagged the shell.

Green Star 2

The green star can be achieved as you go out the first submerged tunnel.  Do not take the Launch Star.  Instead, just let it get a hold of you and it will gently place you on the ground.  You will see the glow of the green star around the corner, and you can also get a 1UP here.

Battle Belt Galaxy

Green Star 1

This one is pretty simple to find.  Just go to the planet that has the jack o’lantern on it with the keyhole on top.  Backwards somersault to the top of the key area, and then jump to get the star.

Green Star 2

All you need to do here is go to the area with the gopher guys and go to the top of the keyhole area.  Do a backwards somersault and you will have the star.  Don’t kill both guys and get the key.  I accidentally did that the first time.  If you do, just go on and get green star 3.

Green Star 3

When you get to the final area, you will find it atop a locked green pipe once again.

Bowser’s Galaxy Generator

Green Star 1

This one can be found after the hammer brothers.  You will need to grab that tufty thing and then float down all the way to the bottom and to the right.  It is pretty easy to miss, and watch out for the shooting flames that could get you on the way down to it.

Green Star 2

Okay, this star is all about getting a cloud mushroom in the one tube area with the bullet bills where you must get to the Luanch Star.  I prefer to get two, and it is possible.  The trick is not to hit the checkpoint flag when you come to the suspension bridge, and take out the bad guy with a Star Bit and jump on him.  You can then do a long jump to the green star, make a cloud, and then do another cloud jump.
