Virtual Surgery Games Online

Updated on June 15, 2015

Ranging from the educational to the wacky, silly, fun, and from brain surgery games, to knee surgery games. There are plenty of online games involving surgery out there that you should get a kick out of! If you are searching for some bloody surgery games to play this is your place too! There are plenty out there that will make you squirm for how disgusting they are! Why not try it out and play for free? What do you have to loose?

Please be aware that if searching for online games for children, there are some sites that offer some pretty gruesome surgery games, if this is a problem i highly suggest going through the directories of the sites you will be letting your child visit and make sure there isn't anything that you think you would disapprove of.

Virtual Knee Surgery Games

Virtual Knee Surgery is a perfect blend of interesting and educational I recommend this for anyone that is interested in how surgery is performed. There is plenty to learn about how surgery is performed here. The doctor of the hospital stays with you while you perform surgery and instructs you on what needs to be done so you don't have to be an actual doctor in order to beat it.

The entire virtual surgery games series is great, you can't go wrong with these online surgery games! They are all very educational and fun wrapped into one.

Virtual Hip Surgery Games

Virtual Hip Surgery is a nice educational game just like virtual knee surgery. Both of these games have the same look feel and playability. Great fun for kids and they learn something too!

A great addition to the virtual surgery games series. A welcomed one at that!

Amature Surgeon Surgery Games

Amature Surgeon is a fantastic game about a pizza boy that aspires to be a surgeon and improvises his surgeon tools to perform operations on anyone who is in need! This is addictive kind of gruesome but deliciously so! This game will not give you anything more than just pure addictive fun. When it comes to a fun surgery game this is a winner!

Taken from Adult Swim:

"Amateur Surgeon Games Description: Pizza delivery boy Alan a regular guy with a big dream: to become a surgeon. One fateful night on the way back from a delivery Alan runs over Dr. Ignacious Bleed, and is forced to perform a delicate operation with only the tools he has on-hand a stapler, pizza cutter, salad tongs, a lighter and other household implements. From then on, Alan and Bleed begin running a back-alley surgery shop that appeals to the criminal element that can not seek medical help any other way. Good Luck!"

Virtual Hip Resurfacing

In Virtual Hip Resurfacing you take the role of a resident doctor of the hospital and help out a 55 year old man by performing a total hip resurfacing. This is a great addition to the hip surgery games, kind of goes right along with it. There is a lot of information that transfers to both of the online games. This like all of Edhead's online surgery games are very educational and worth checking out if you like learning something new! This game is however a little less exciting than some of the other games as it is a hip resurfacing. Its educational and fun just not that exciting of A surgery game.

Brain Surgery Games

Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery - Edheads brings you another great game. Your objective is to do surgery on a woman who has parkinson's disease. You will play the role of the resident surgeon and will be guided along the process of surgery. Of course the statement goes that, well it isn't brain surgery. It is, and it fairly difficult because of how complex the brain is. The game itself holds your hand and walks you through it though so you won't have to worry about that. Almost everyone is bound to learn something from this game due to the amount of information that they explain about what causes parkinson's and how surgeons cure it. This is great fun and has a high educational value I suggest everyone check this game out!

Dark Cut Surgery Games

This addictive flash game is amazing in my opinion. It is a little gruesome but thats what it is meant to be. Its pretty real looking at times and not meant for the squeemish.

The objective of the game is to save your patients life. The situation that you must save their life and is less than ordinary. Most of the time you're given rusty utensils and alcohol to sedate your patient in your makeshift hospital. This is what adds to the gruesome nature of the game and makes it really fun and playable over and over again.

You can find dark cut series at pretty much any flash games site.

Light Cut Surgery Games

Light Cut is a fantastic game made by Armor Games! To get the full effect of the game it is suggested that you plug in a microphone. I'm glad I did, I got a kick out of this game. This is more of a surgery game parody than anything else, but well worth the price of admission (free).

Virtual Open Heart Surgery Games

Virtual Open Heart Surgery is very educational for me when I played through it, it was also very fun. You take the role of A Dr. on any difficulty that you would like to attempt to complete. this game is particularly informative. In the amount of detail he goes into about the heart and the overall procedure. You will without a doubt learn a lot about the heart in this online game. This game is also not really that graphical at all more educational than anything. Just information put into a nice graphic interactive game type setting.

Let's Operate!

Let's Operate is a fairly addictive game that reminds me of the board game operation. Not to say that the gameplay is anything alike though they both require good hands to be successful in. You simply carve around objects that are stuck inside patients following the outline closely. If you stray too far off of the outline the patient will loose blood and possibly die! Try to save as many patients that you can without running out of blood to get the best score possible!

DOS Surgery Games

Playing these old games is great, it really shows you about what it was like in a hospital and how they used to operate. They aren't all that popular anymore, however they used to be back in the day.

DOSBox is a simple to install and use emulator that basically put emulates the DOS environment. This means that you will be able to play the old style DOS games that you once loved as a child. Most of these games are as of now labeled as abandonware, AKA noone can sell them anymore so they are lisense free! This means that we are able to download DOS games from abandonware sites for free! Free games are nice and there are some good ones and ones that you will remember from when you where a child. Below are a few that I could find, if you know of more please inform me below in the comment box.

I am no longer allowed to link to these abandon ware sites, so the following games will need to be searched for on your own.

Life and Death

Life and Death is one of the best games in the DOS generation period, and most certainly the best surgery games. You take the role of a intern doctor of the hospital and go through the day to day life as a doctor. You won't see the new gadgets doctors use, but you will see how operations used to work and how the body works while playing at the very least. In the hospital you will diagnose patients, go to school, and operate on your patients. The learning curb is a little steep once you start getting into it but most people get the hang of it by then. You can misdiagnose a patient if you didn't learn anything from your doctor school and this can lead to lots of problems down the road. Be careful and try to learn as much as possible so you don't kill your patients. After you have properly diagnosed your patient then you must operate on them. You need to know what you need to do when operating on your patient and have steady hands to succeed! Be careful and hopefully you will have a job at the end of the day!

Life And Death 2: The Brain

Life and Death 2: The Brain is just like its predeccessor in many ways. They improve upon all of the things that made the previous one popular however and this is what makes this entire series great. The new one of course focuses most of its surgeries around the brain, of course you will diagnose every area of the patients body its just most of the surgeries focus around the brain. You still take the role of a doctor in a hospital and go to school to learn how to diagnose patients and what to do about it. This game is amazingly better than the previous games due to the improvements with more tools at your disposal when performing surgery, this coupled with its amazing amount of replayability.

Laser Surgeon: The Microscopic Mission

Laser Surgeon: The Microscopic Mission is a pure surgery game. The focus of this game is to gain rank and prestige through completing surgeries successfully. Laser surgery is an addicting game setting. When you rank up you go from an intern all the way to a master surgeon. This is a very educational game in which you must learn how to save your patient not just follow instructions, or you will loose your patient trying to save them! This is an exciting surgery game with a lot of different procedures available and decent amount of re playability. Most definitely worth checking out.

Console Games

Trauma Center 1 & 2 (Nintendo DS) - Both great surgery games that need to be commended for combining steady hands puzzle and surgery into one fantastic surgery game. Plays best on the DS I think but on the Wii it is pretty much just as fun

Trauma Center Second Opinion (Wii) - Amazingly addictive surgery game one of the better games for the Wii. Addictive story and gameplay can't be beat. First Trauma Center released on Wii

Trauma Center New Blood (Wii) - Sequel to Trauma Center Second Opinion. Great sequel just as much action if you enjyed the first game you will love the second.
