The big guy is back!! I do not like every animated that is released but I have to be honest that I really enjoyed the first Kung Fu Panda movie. I did not see it with my kids in the movie theaters but rented it with them one night. I thought Kung Fu Panda was another great animated movie that appeals to kids but engages adults as well. I think I may have enjoyed Kung Fu Panda too much because I really have been looking forward to its sequel.

The basic plot of Kung Fu Panda 2 is: We see Po living a fantastic life in the beginning of the movie. He is now a dragon warrior and is protecting the Valley of the Peace with the rest of the Furious Five. A new villain emerges names Lord Shen who threatens the peace of China. Lord Shen has a secret weapon that he wants to use to conquer all of China and Kung Fu. Po and the rest of the Furious Five have to figure out how they are going to defeat this dangerous villain and save China.

My kids are really looking forward to see Kung fu Panda 2. So far of the kid animated movie releases this spring, we have seen Rio. We missed out on Hop but we will probably end up renting that one.
