Before we begin, a quick note about pre-order prices: Amazon overestimates the price of items that have not had their prices announced. PlayStaion 4 games will NOT cost $99. Watch_Dogs

What happens when you stitch together Assasin's Creed, Grand Theft Auto, and Mirror's Edge?
? You get Watch_Dogs, an open world game that gives players the ability to interact with a near-future city's electronics with touch of a smart phone button. Control traffic lights, hack ever-present surveillance cameras, blow up fuse boxes and more to accomplish missions around the city.

Without a doubt, Watch_Dogs is the most anticipated PlayStation 4 launch title. UbiSoft has proven themselves as a studio capable of releasing Triple A titles on a tight schedule. By taking the ubiquity of social media and government profiling and turning it into a socially conscious action game, Ubi is looking to raise the bar when it comes to immersive storytelling in an action game.

Watch_Dogs will also be available for the PS3 and 360, but expect the definitive versions to be next gen.

Infamous: Second Son

Starring a brand new lead character, Infamous is another game that analyzes the way in which the government controls its citizens and how the people can choose to rebel. Wrapped in a snazzy superhero package, Infamous: Second Son is a PlayStation 4 exclusive title that is likely to be available on launch day.

Sucker Punch productions will be helming the latest Infamous title. Players can expect the same type of high flying open world action that characterized previous installments. This time, fire wielding know-it-all Delsin Rowe.

Will Delsin be a hero or villain? How will his flame based powers allow him to interact with the world? What kind of name is Delsin anyways? All will be revealed in Infamous: Second Son for the PS4!

The Witness

Indy game superstar Jonathan Blow surprised the world when he announced that his follow up to mega-hit Braid will be debuting on the PlayStation 4. One of the most buzzed about games in recent memory, The Witness is a modern day Myst which is sure to feature Blow's unique approach to puzzle solving and cryptic storytelling.

What makes The Witness launching as a PS4 game so notable is Blow's longstanding feud with Microsoft over how Braid was handled on the Xbox Arcade service. By aligning himself with the PS4, blow has signaled that small developers have a friend in Sony.

Killzone: Shadow Fall

Another PlayStation, another Killzone. The Killzone series's latest sequel is looking to be one of the top PlayStation 4 games at launch. Although the Killzone series has never had the same popularity as the Halo and Call of Duty franchises, they have always been proficient, fun first person shooters with an interesting setting.

It's not clear whether or not Killzone can ever be a killer app, but this expertly crafted FPS is sure to be a big seller on launch day for the PlayStation 4. The mix of cover-based FPS gameplay mixed with awe inspiring action set pieces means that this will be one of the best PlayStation 4 games available to really show off the power of Sony's new system.

Diablo III

Yep, that's right: after over a decade, Blizzard is finally returning to consoles with the PlayStation 4 Once upon a time, they churned out SNES games but the Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo series have all been firmly PC-only for years and years.

Sony has scored a real coup by gaining access to one of the top games of the generation with Diablo III. There's no word yet on how the PlayStation version of this top game will handle features like the online store or matchmaking, but for gamers who've been craving some demon killing action but haven't had a top of the line PC, this is big news.

And how knows? Maybe we'll see World of Warcraft on a console of this works out.
