The Best Playard - An Absolute Must-Buy

The reasons why The AOSOM Playpen is the best playard for you and for your baby:

Space

Most playards cater for one baby being able to move around and play with a bit of space, do a bit of cruising and stay safe. If, like me, you've got twins then a conventional playard is simply not big enough. And if you want to get right on in there and have a safe play with your little one, then no problem because you've got up to 41 square feet. For most living rooms, that's a lot of space to take up with a baby playard, so using 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 of the panels is also an option.

Peace of Mind

Most playards are the safest place in the house to be if all hazards have been removed. With my current experience of one year-old twins, I am entirely happy that if I have to leave the room for a short time, that the girls will be safe in the Aosom playpen. Why? Firstly, I have padded floor tiles on the floor covering the entire area so if one should topple over they only receive a gentle knock and secondly, since it is floor-standing on rubber pads to prevent scratching, there is no chance that the two of them could rock it over as they are threatening to do with the travel cot/playard that we also have.

Containability

Not only does the Aosom playard contain your baby, it can contain practically all of their belongings, and still leave a spacious playground. We have the playard assembled with six of the panels in a hexagonal shape and have got plenty of room for the girls, their toys and for both of us.

Style

This is a large item which you are going to be living with every day, so you want it to fit into your surroundings. Personally, I find the metal versions rather cage-like, better designed for animals than for my children. The wood, which is solid pine, is nicely put together and has a warmer feel about it.

Finding their Feet

The panels are sturdy enough for toddlers to cruise around, support themselves to get into a standing position and to practice all manner of maneuvers to strengthen and develop their skills.  As we have a tiled floor throughout, I feel reassured about them trying out their new-found abilities in the playpen to limit the damage of the inevitable topplings-over.

Versatility

The shape in which you put your Aosom playpen together is entirely up to you. It has been designed to use between 4-8 of the panels included (one of which is a gate, which has been remodeled in the 2010 version). However, should you prefer to use the panels as a room divider or to cordon off a safe area away from fires or pets, then the panels are easily and securely attached to walls.

If you are looking for a playard or for a safe solution for your baby or twins, this really is the answer.

I ONLY WISH THEY TOLD A TOP TO COVER THIS AFTER THE BABY CAN CRAWL OUT. MY GRANDSON PLAYS HAPPILY IN THIS WITH HIS TOYS AND I FEEL ABLE TO GO INTO THE OTHER ROOM BEFORE HE COULD CRAWL OUT..BUT NOW HE CAN CRAWL OUT SO IT'S REALLY NOT MUCH GOOD ANYMORE. I THINK IF THERE WAS A TOP HE COULDN'T GET OFF, HE'D STILL BE HAPPY TO BE IN THERE AND I'D FEEL LIKE I CAN GO TO THE BATHROOM OR ANSWER THE DOOR ETC.
