Tips and Strategy for Infected on the Map Dome on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 ( MW3 ) with M.O.A.B. proof!

Updated on June 26, 2012

Intro

This is going to be a short hub, but will go over how to play the Infected game mode on Dome on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

I will talk about possible hiding spots, and where you can go, and where to stay for long periods of time, also where to get a MOAB, and different strategies that can be played on this map.

Also would like to add, that I play on the Xbox 360 console, and frequently play infected, and hardcore domination. My Xbox Live Name is Agent JohnR. If you see me on, feel free to give a shout out, ask questions. Thanks for reading.

Also would like to add that, I am adding my guide to overall success in playing infected on Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

Strategy

Ok so here I will talk about the strategy for the map Dome. On this map, I have put a few dots, to show the best spots to be.

The Orange X. After this guide is written, I am sure this spot will get checked more often, BUT, As of now this spot is rarely checked, and many times when playing around I will go to this spot, and lay here against the wall. I will stay here up against the wall, not fire bullet, and be the last one to die. I will not get many if any kills, but I will be the last one here, and usually people feel pretty dumb, because many people tend to walk right by you when you are standing in this spot.

The Red Dot. The red dot is the best spot to lay up on the dome. Another note is that for no reason should you go to crouch, or stand while on this dome. That makes you a very easy target for people like me to hit you with a throwing knife. If done correctly, you will be taken down fairly quickly if you are in crouch or in standing mode. The best way for you to be on the dome in to be in prone. This will ensure that each infected player will have to try their hardest to get you down from the bottom. Also you should be on top of the dome, and be facing the ladder. With the ammo provided you can easily get around 25 kills to earn your MOAB if you would like.

The blue dot. This area is great to start out. I usually stay here until there are about 5 people infected. After that I move up to the dome, but in the beginning I stay below and kill as many people as I can, and collect ammo. I think this spot works great to get your first few kills, and to get sleight of hand, and to get as many perks as possible.

So there you have it. A few spots for you to camp on. This will be a great way for you to start out, and to try to survive, while getting some kills. Other maps along the way.

Above is a video of me getting a throwing knife kill on infected for the kill cam. I did this recently, and will also show that I do actually play this game, not just write these guides aimlessly.

Above is a video of me getting a MOAB in the spot I tell you to go to. The video features me getting MOAB, and I get to call it in before dying.
